Your anchor date is the foundation of your entire payroll schedule, set it once and all future payrolls fall into place automatically.
What is an anchor date? It's the starting point for your payroll cycle. Every subsequent payroll runs on schedule based on this date, weekly, biweekly, or monthly. Change it anytime if your schedule shifts.
How to set your anchor date
1
Click Settings in the lower left corner
You can find it from any screen inside Thryv Workforce Center, no need to navigate away.
2
Find your payroll schedule settings
Look for the anchor date field, it's where your payroll cycle begins.
3
Select your anchor date
Pick the date you want your payroll schedule to start from and save your changes.
Need to change it later? No problem, head back to Settings anytime to update your anchor date and your schedule will adjust automatically.
Under Payroll Schedule, click on the Edit Icon.
In the settings pane, you only need to set two dates, Thryv handles every payroll after that automatically.
The two dates you'll set
First Pay Date
The date your first payroll runs on the new schedule. All future payrolls follow from here at your chosen frequency.
End of Pay Period
The last day of the pay period covered by that first payroll. Each subsequent pay period follows the same cycle automatically.
