When you are approved for ThryvPay as a new client, you may receive a provisional approval status while your account completes the final review process. Provisional approval is a standard step for all new merchants joining a new payment processing service and is designed to protect both your business and ThryvPay.
During the provisional approval period, the following restrictions apply to your ThryvPay account:
- Credit card transactions are permitted, but all funds are held for 7 business days starting from your first transaction
- All transactions processed during the 7-business-day provisional window are deposited together on the 7th business day
- ACH e-check transactions are not available during the provisional approval period
The fastest way to move through the provisional approval period is to begin processing your everyday business transactions through ThryvPay. Regular transaction activity signals to the payment processing system that your account is in good standing and helps expedite your final approval.
Once your account receives final approval, the following funding timelines apply:
- Credit card transactions fund the next business day, provided the payment is completed by 8:00 PM that day
- ACH e-check transactions are available to enable after final approval and take 7 to 10 business days to deposit, which is standard for ACH bank transfer timelines
