Easily add your products to Thryv for use in estimates and invoices. The My Products setting will keep a list of the different products that you carry for your business and you can edit them at any time.

My Products Menu:

Add Product Item

To add your products select the '+' at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Add all the product details:

• Product Name
• Description
• Price
• Tax
• Photo
• Select if the product should be displayed on the product list

Select Save.

High-Thryver Tip: If you have a long list of products to add, try the Smart Data Importer! It is a convenient way to add lots of products at once!

Edit Product Item

To edit a product, select the tri-dot() at the far right and select edit.  

Clone Product Item

To clone a product, select the tri-dot() at the far right and select clone. Cloning is useful when you have several items that are similar. When you clone the item, you can just make minor adjustments to differentiate the item from its original. 

Delete Product Item

To completely remove a product, select the tri-dot() at the far right and select delete. This will completely remove this item from Thryv and it will no longer be available to use in estimates and invoices. 

Hide from list

To hide a product from the list, select the tri-dot() at the far right and select hide from list. This is useful when you have products that are seasonal or temporarily unavailable, as you can temporarily remove the ability to select the product from the list in estimates and invoices. Hidden items will show in settings until it is unhidden from the list. 

FAQ:

Can products be scheduled as appointments on the calendar?

No. An item that can be scheduled as an appointment on the calendar would be called a "service" in Thryv. Click Here for a full guide to services.

Is there a character limit for descriptions of products?

No, you can use as much space as needed to describe your products! The estimate or invoice shown to the client will cut off when the line ends, but a client can download the PDF to view the full item descriptions. 

Can I edit the price/description of a product for a specific estimate/invoice?

Yes, you can edit the item as normal, just remember to uncheck the box to save the new information if the edit is only for a specific instance.
