Managing group events from a calendar view makes it hard to see registrations, waitlists, and event statuses at a glance. The Event List view in Thryv Business Center displays all your group events in a filterable list so you can quickly review registrations, add clients, send messages to registered clients, and sort or filter your events without switching between individual calendar entries. How to Access the Event List View
To switch to the Event List view, click Calendar in the left-hand navigation, then click Event List. The filter and sort options appear in the left-hand pane and your group events are listed on the right. Use the Search bar at the top of the list to search for a specific event by event name.
How to View Registrations and Take Quick Actions on an Event
To view the clients registered for a specific event, locate the event in the Event List and click the blue text showing the number of registered clients. A panel will open on the right side of the screen showing the list of registered clients, the waitlist, and buttons to register additional clients or send a message to all registered clients.
How to Register a Client to an Event
To add a client to a group event, open the registration panel by clicking the blue registered clients count for the event in the Event List. Click Register Client. A client selection screen will appear where you can select one or multiple clients to add to the event. After selecting the clients you want to register, confirm the selection to complete the registration.
How to Send a Message or Document to All Registered Clients
To send a message or document to all clients registered for an event, open the registration panel by clicking the blue registered clients count for the event. Click Send To All, then select either Message or Document from the dropdown. A client selection screen will appear with all registered clients selected by default. Deselect any clients you do not want to include. A message composition field will appear with a default message pre-filled containing information about the event. You can edit or delete the default message and type your own message. When finished, click Send.
How to Filter Events
The Event List view displays upcoming group events for the next 30 days by default. To apply your own filters, use the filter options in the left-hand pane. If the filter and sort pane is not visible, the pane may be collapsed. Click the pane to expand it. You can filter events by event status, staff member, or event date.
How to Sort Events
To sort your event list, use the Date sort option at the top of the event list. Click the (asc) or (desc) indicator next to the Date sort option to toggle between ascending and descending order.
