Viewing your appointments as a list instead of a calendar makes it easier to spot gaps in your schedule, filter by staff or status, and take action on multiple bookings at once. The Appointment List view in Thryv Business Center lets you filter, sort, export, and manage your appointments from a single screen without navigating to each individual appointment. How to Access the Appointment List View
To switch to the Appointment List view, click Calendar in the left-hand navigation, then click Appointment List. The filter and sort options appear in the left-hand pane and your appointments are listed on the right. Use the Search bar at the top of the list to search for a specific appointment by client name.
How to Filter Appointments
The Appointment List view displays upcoming appointments for the next 30 days by default. To apply your own filters, use the filter options in the left-hand pane. If the filter and sort pane is not visible, the pane may be collapsed. Click the pane to expand it. You can filter appointments by appointment status, staff member, appointment date, or payment status.
Note: The staff member filter shows all staff members assigned to an appointment, whether they are the primary or secondary assigned staff. The filter does not distinguish between primary and secondary staff.
How to Sort Appointments
To sort your appointment list, use the Date sort option at the top of the appointment list. Click the (asc) or (desc) indicator next to the Date sort option to toggle between ascending and descending order.
How to Export Your Appointment List
You can export your appointment list to a CSV or Excel file. Exporting is useful for printing your appointment list to display at your business, sharing schedules with team members, or keeping records outside of Thryv Business Center. To export your appointment list, click the Export icon in the top-right corner of the Appointment List view.
An export configuration window will appear. Configure the following options before exporting:
- Date Range - Select the start date and end date for the appointments you want to export. Only appointments that fall within the selected date range will be included.
- Column - Select which appointment fields to include in the export. Choose All to export every available field, or select the Column radio button and choose specific fields to include only the information you need.
- Row - Select which appointments to include. Choose All to export every appointment within the selected date range, or choose Filtered Results to export only the appointments currently shown based on the filters applied in the left-hand pane.
- Format - Choose whether to export the file as a CSV or an Excel file.
After configuring the export options, click Export. The file will download automatically and can be found in your device's Downloads folder.
How to Take Quick Actions on a Single Appointment
The Appointment List view lets you take quick actions on individual appointments without opening each appointment separately. To access the quick actions for an appointment, hover over the appointment row in the list and click the three-dot menu icon that appears. A dropdown menu will open with the following available actions: accept, edit, cancel, reschedule, mark as completed, mark as no-show, duplicate, or reassign.
To take a payment for an appointment directly from the Appointment List, click the payment icon next to the appointment. A payment screen will open with the appointment information pre-loaded so you can process the payment without navigating away from the list.
How to Take Bulk Actions on Multiple Appointments
The Appointment List view also supports bulk actions so you can manage multiple appointments at once. Bulk actions let you accept or cancel multiple appointments simultaneously, or send a message to all clients included in the selected appointments. Use the filter options in the left-hand pane to narrow your list before selecting appointments for bulk action, which makes it easier to target a specific group of appointments.
