Welcome to the Clover App! This app allows you to import your POS order and transaction data from Clover into Thryv Business Center™, and easily manage every client experience from start to finish. Clover’s mobile POS system allows you to process contactless payments on the go and virtually, and import transaction information right into Thryv Business Center

This application will:
- Initially, import current customers and payments from Clover to Thryv Business Center
- Ongoing, create a Thryv® payment and a client with each new Clover payment for any client that does not already exist in your Thryv Business Center CRM
- Ongoing, create a Thryv Business Center payment with each new Clover payment for any existing client in your CRM

App Installation
The initial sync of the app will take your customer list and payment records from Clover to Thryv Business Center.
Let get started! Log into Thryv Business Center and navigate to the App Market tab.
Select the Clover app.
Select Launch this App.
Provide your Merchant Name and Merchant ID.
To find your Merchant Name and Merchant ID, go to your Colver account and select the Account & Setup tab.
Your Merchant Name appears under the business name section, and also at the top of your screen next to the Clover logo. You can find your Merchant ID in the URL of your internet browser. It is shown as mid=yourmerchantid.
Once these are entered in Thryv, you'll receive this success message letting you know that you have successfully registered for the app.
The setup of your Thryv Clover App will take approximately 15 minutes. You will receive a notification in your Thryv inbox when it is ready.
You will also receive an email from Clover when the new Thryv app has been added to your clover dashboard. It will say the following: 'The app has been pushed to the merchant you have specified.' Upon receiving the email, go to your Clover account > login > click the Thryv App in your Clover Dashboard (Thryv will appear as an option to select in the left-hand navigation.)
The sync has now been initiated. The installation is now in progress. Thryv is syncing your customer list and payments from Clover to Thryv. The installation time is dependent on the number of customers to sync. The more customers the longer the installation. It will sync clients with an email and phone. You can close this window while the installation is in progress. You will receive a message to your Thryv inbox upon completion. |

Ongoing App Sync
The Clover app creates a one-way ongoing sync of clients and payments from Clover to Thryv Business Center with the following triggers:
New Customers
- Create a new customer in Clover -> New client created in Thryv Business Center
New Payments
- Create a Payment in Clover -> a New Payment is created in Thryv Business Center
- New Customer & Payment in Clover -> New Customer & Payment in Thryv Business Center
- Any new payment with a new customer will sync both the payment and customer info to Thryv Business Center.
- New Customer & Payment in Clover -> New Customer & Payment in Thryv Business Center

- Existing Customer & New Payment in Clover -> New Payment assigned to existing Thryv Business Center Contact.
- New Payments NOT associated with a client - will come over as Clover Client #ordernumber
Uninstall
The Clover app must be uninstalled from within Clover itself. First, you will need to sign in to your Clover account
Click More Tools on the left hand side of the console.
Click on Installed Apps
Next, click on Thryv
Finally, click on the tri-dots and click Uninstall App
FAQs
Can I use Clover if I have the Thryv HIPAA Add-On?
No. Unfortunately, due to Clover's non-HIPAA compliance, this add-on is not available to Thryv accounts with the HIPAA add on
What will not sync in the initial sync from Clover to Thryv Business Center?
- A customer without a phone number or email will not sync from Clover to Thryv Business Center
- Partial payments will not transfer. Once the transaction is paid in full it will sync from Clover to Thryv Business Center
- Overcharges will not transfer
Can I use Clover as my payment processor in Thryv? For example, can I have customers pre-pay for appointments using the Clover Thryv app?
This is not a capability with the Clover integration. The Clover integration is a one-way sync from Clover to Thryv Business Center. The intent of the app is to move your customers and payments from Clover to Thryv Business Center. This is perfect if you need a point of sale in your business and you want that list of customers and their transactions to copy over and populate your Thryv contact list.
Payable items in Thryv, i.e. appointment fees, products, or invoices are not integrated with the Clover payment processing system. To process payments in Thryv, you'll need to connect to one of Thryv's payment processors.
