Create a Call to Action Button/Image - WordPress
You can add a Client Portal Call to Action buttons on different pages of your WordPress site.
Create your own service menu on your website and allow clients to schedule, send a message or pay with a click of a button.
You can upload any image or button to your WordPress website and link it to any Client Portal call to action.
Example of Call to Action button on a WordPress site
Basic: Open in Same Page/New Tab
- Generate the action link on your account
- Navigate to Online Presence> Client Portal >Create Direct Links
- Under Where would you like to add a Client Portal call-to-action? Select Email
- Under Choose an action select your desired option and customize as needed
- Under the Grab your link section, copy the URL listed there
- In WordPress - Apply the link to your button/image
- Navigate to the Page you wish to add the button or image
- Choose Add Media to insert your desired button/image
- Select Insert Into Page
- Select the button and choose Edit
- Under Display Settings select Link To Custom URL
- Paste the previously-copied Client Portal link
- Optional - Under Advanced Options, you may select Open link in new window/tab if desired
- Click Update to save changes

Advanced: Open in Floating Window/Lightbox
Note - To use this option, the Client Portal Widget code/plugin must already be present on your site.
- Generate the action link on your account
- Navigate to Online Presence> Client Portal >Create Direct Links
- Under Where would you like to add a Client Portal call-to-action? Select Website - link will open a “floating window.”
- Under Choose an action select your desired option and customize as needed
- Under the Grab your link section, copy the URL listed there
Note - the link here is actually an HTML code consist of the call to action link and the related Class. Each call to action will have a different class, and you should use it within your Wordpress page as explained below. - In WordPress - Apply the link to your button/image
- Navigate to the Page you wish to add the button or image
- Choose Add Media to insert your desired button/image
- Select Insert Into Page
- Select the button and choose Edit
- Under Display Settings select Link To Custom URL
- Paste the previously-copied Client Portal call to action link
- Under Advanced Options > Image CSS Class input the related call to action Class (e.g., if you selected a scheduling call to action, the action class is live site-schedule)
- Click Update to save changes
