Why the Dashboard Is Your Starting Point Every Day
The Dashboard is the home screen of Thryv Business Center™. Instead of navigating to multiple sections to check on your business, the Dashboard brings the most important information together in one view — your upcoming appointments, outstanding payments, recent campaign performance, and active clients. Starting your day on the Dashboard gives you an immediate picture of what needs your attention so you can take action without losing time.
The Dashboard is divided into five areas:
Quick Actions — Send a message, create an invoice, or take other common actions directly from the Dashboard without navigating to another section.
Sales — View revenue totals, overdue payments, pending estimates, and weekly scheduled revenue at a glance.
Schedule — See your upcoming appointments and total bookings for the month.
Campaigns — Review performance metrics for your most recently sent campaigns.
Clients — View a quick list of your clients based on your currently selected CRM view.
The screenshot above shows the Thryv Business Center Dashboard home screen. The five Dashboard sections are displayed from top to bottom: Quick Actions, Sales, Schedule, Campaigns, and Clients. Each section is a clickable widget that links to the full view for that feature. The Dashboard does not display notifications, inbox messages, or staff management information — those are accessed from the left-hand navigation.
Quick Actions: Take Action Without Leaving the Dashboard
The Quick Actions section at the top of the Dashboard lets you take common actions with your clients directly from the home screen. Click any of the available Quick Action buttons to open a popup window where you can complete the action. Quick Actions are designed to let you send a message, create a document, or initiate a client interaction without navigating away from the Dashboard.
The screenshot above shows the Quick Actions section of the Dashboard. A row of action buttons is displayed, each representing a common action that can be completed from the Dashboard. Clicking any Quick Action button opens a popup window to complete that action. The Quick Actions section does not display client history or account settings — it only provides shortcut buttons for common tasks.
Sales: Monitor Your Revenue and Outstanding Payments
The Sales section of the Dashboard provides aggregate metrics about your business revenue. Click any metric in the Sales section to open the full individual dashboard for that metric. The Sales section displays the following metrics:
Revenue — The total revenue collected for your business. Use the dropdown in the Revenue widget to toggle the displayed data between year to date, this week, and this month.
Overdue Payments — The total number and combined dollar amount of payments that are 31 or more days past their due date.
Pending Estimates — The total number of estimates that have been sent but not yet accepted by clients.
Weekly Scheduled Revenue — A chart showing the total dollar amount of appointment fees scheduled for each week. The Weekly Scheduled Revenue chart includes all scheduled appointment fees regardless of whether the fee has already been collected or is still owed.
The screenshot above shows the Sales section of the Dashboard. Four metric widgets are displayed: Revenue with a time period dropdown in the top left, Overdue Payments showing a count and total dollar amount, Pending Estimates showing a count, and a Weekly Scheduled Revenue bar chart along the bottom. Clicking any widget opens the full dashboard for that metric. For detailed information about Sales reporting, see the Sales section of the Thryv Business Center Help Center.
Schedule: See Your Upcoming Appointments at a Glance
The Schedule section of the Dashboard shows a summary of your upcoming calendar activity. The Schedule section displays the following information:
Upcoming appointments — A list of your next scheduled appointments. Click any appointment in the list to open that appointment's detail view.
Appointments for the next 5 days — A view of appointment activity for the next five days. Click any day to open the full calendar view for that day.
Total bookings for the month — The total number of appointments booked in the current month. Click the total bookings count to open the full monthly calendar view.
The screenshot above shows the Schedule section of the Dashboard. Upcoming appointments are listed on the left side of the section. A five-day appointment summary is displayed in the center. The total bookings for the month count is shown on the right side. Clicking any element in the Schedule section navigates to the corresponding view in the full Calendar. For detailed Calendar information, see the Calendar section of the Thryv Business Center Help Center.
Campaigns: Review Your Most Recent Campaign Performance
The Campaigns section of the Dashboard shows performance metrics for your most recently sent campaigns, listed in chronological order with the most recent campaign at the top. For each campaign, the following metrics are displayed:
Received — The number of contacts who received the campaign.
Opened — The number of contacts who opened the campaign.
Clicked — The number of contacts who clicked the action button in the campaign.
Acted — The number of contacts who took action in the client portal after receiving the campaign.
The screenshot above shows the Campaigns section of the Dashboard. Recently sent campaigns are listed in chronological order. Each campaign row displays four metric counts: Received, Opened, Clicked, and Acted. The Campaigns section shows only your most recently sent campaigns — it does not display draft campaigns or campaign scheduling information. For detailed campaign reporting and management, see the Marketing Automation section of the Thryv Business Center Help Center.
Clients: View Your CRM List from the Dashboard
The Clients section of the Dashboard displays a quick list of your clients based on the CRM view currently selected. If you have created custom CRM views, use the view selector in the Clients section to switch between them and see the corresponding client list without navigating to the full Clients section.
The screenshot above shows the Clients section of the Dashboard. A list of client records is displayed based on the currently selected CRM view. A view selector dropdown is shown at the top of the section for switching between CRM views. The Clients section on the Dashboard does not display full client profiles or communication history — it shows only the client list for the selected view. For full client management, see the Clients section of the Thryv Business Center Help Center.
How to Set Your Default Home Screen
At the bottom of the Dashboard, you can choose which screen appears by default when you sign in to Thryv Business Center. Selecting a default screen lets you start your session directly on the section most relevant to your daily workflow instead of returning to the Dashboard each time you log in.
The screenshot above shows the default home screen selector at the bottom of the Dashboard. A set of options is displayed for choosing which screen appears when you sign in to Thryv Business Center. Select the option that matches the section you use most frequently. The default home screen setting applies only to your individual staff account — it does not change the default screen for other staff members on your account.
