As a business owner, we help you to quickly engage new prospects even when you are on the go, and for your existing clients to reach out to you. Whether your customers need to contact your business, make payments, share documents or schedule with you, Client Portal offers a solution.
Whenever you add a new client to your account, the system will automatically send your client an invitation to contact you on your Client Portal, so your clients will always have quick access to your business. You can even customize the message on a per-invite basis if desired.
Additionally, you can now engage your existing client base by sending them a proactive invitation to your Client Portal. Customers will receive the personalized message directly to their email address, allowing them to take action quickly.
Desktop View
Invite New Clients to your Client Portal
To add a new client to your CRM account and invite them to your Client Portal from your desktop computer, follow these steps:
- Add a new client - From the left navigation pane, click on Clients>New
- Complete the client information as desired.
- The option to send the Client Portal invitation will be checked by default, and you can choose Edit email message if you wish to change the default text.
- Once you click Save, the invitation will be sent automatically to the client.
Invite Existing Clients to your Client Portal
- Add a new client - From the left navigation pane, click on Clients
- Check the box next to your client's name
- Click on Invite to Client Portal
- Select clients from your list or create a new client on-the-fly.
- Select the Call to Action you would like to send to your client:
1) Visit your Client Portal: Use this to allow the customer to access their personal client portal, to review past correspondence or initiate a new meeting, payment & more.
2) Schedule: Invite the client to schedule a meeting or a service with you.
3) Pay: Invite the client to submit a payment for services rendered.
4)Share Document: Invite the client to share a new document with you, such as tax information or a design idea.
- You can also edit the Email subject, Message, and Button text to make it more personal or include specific information or instructions. This can be done on a per-invite basis.
- Once you click Send, your client will receive the invitation by email.
Mobile View
Invite New Clients to your Client Portal
To add a new client from the mobile CRM and invite them to your Client Portal, follow these steps:
- Access your account on the mobile device.
Click the circular blue "+" icon and choose Client from the displayed list.
- Complete the client information as desired.
- The option to send the Client Portal invitation will be checked by default, and you can choose the Edit email message link to customize the text if desired. (Screenshot below shows the message field post-click.)
- Once you click Save, the invitation will be sent automatically.
Invite Existing Clients to your Client Portal
Instead of waiting for your existing clients to visit your website to contact you, you can send them an invitation directly to their email to quickly access your Client Portal - using your mobile device and on the go!
- Access your account on the mobile device and click the 3 vertical dots at the top of the screen.
Choose Invite to Client Portal from the displayed menu.
- Select existing clients from your list or create a new client on-the-fly.
- Select the Call to Action you would like to send to your client:
1) Login To Client Portal: Use this to allow the customer to access their personal client portal, to review past correspondence or initiate a new meeting, payment & more.
2) Schedule: Invite the client to schedule a new meeting with you.
3) Pay: Invite the client to submit a payment for services rendered.
4)Share Document: Invite the client to share a new document with you, such as tax information or a design idea.
5) Purchase Package: invite client to purchase a group of products or services bundled together
6) Visit Your Business Page Invite the client to view your business page without logging them directly into their client portal
- You can also edit the Email subject, Message, and Button text to make it more personal or include specific information or instructions. This can be done on a per-invite basis.
- Once you click Send, your client will receive the invitation by email.
Please note: If you would like to add a new client (on both desktop and mobile) without sending an invitation to the Client Portal you need to disable the check-box next to Send the client a link to my online portal.
