What Is Threads and Why Connect It?
Threads is a social media platform developed by Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram, designed for sharing short text updates, photos and videos. Threads is tightly integrated with Instagram, which means your existing Instagram followers can find and follow your Threads profile without any additional setup on their part. Connecting Threads to your social media manager lets you manage Threads content alongside your other social accounts without switching between apps.
Before You Begin
Connecting Threads to your social media manager requires an active Threads account. Threads accounts are created through an existing Instagram account a standalone Threads signup is not available. If you have not yet created a Threads account, visit Instagram's guide to setting up a Threads account before continuing. You will also need your Instagram login credentials available, as the connection process requires you to authenticate through Instagram.
How to Connect Your Threads Account

Click Social in the left-hand navigation.
Then click the Gear icon in the upper area of the Social page to open your social account settings.
Step 2: Add a New Social Account
On the Social Settings page, click Add New. A list of available social platforms will appear.
Step 3: Select Threads

A prompt will appear on screen showing the number of content items currently assigned to X. To reassign all of those items to Threads at once, click Select [#] Content Items. Reassigning content in bulk is optional, you can also update individual content items manually at any time.
