The audience page in your SEO dashboard gives more information about the types of people visiting your website. Data is available by geographic information like country or city, demographic information like age and gender, and technical information like device type and operating system.
o access this page, navigate to SEO>Google Analytics>Audience
To change the date range for the data displayed, select a range in the top right, set a custom date range, or compare 2 different date ranges. Changing the date range will affect all charts on this page.
To change the data displayed, choose which information about your visitors you wish to see at the top of the screen. While the metrics available for each section differ, here are a few key definitions for ones that appear frequently. Click on each of these to change the charts below.
- Sessions - number of visits to your site
- Total Users - number of unique website visitors
- Avg Engagement Time - average amount of time a visitor spends on your site
- Views - total number of pages viewed. If a visitor views multiple pages in one session, these would be counted individually
- Conversions - number of times a visitor takes an action on your site, for example making a payment or scheduling an appointment
- Event count - number of individual total actions taken on your site by all visitors
