Your AEO & SEO Dashboard gives you a single view of how your business is performing in both traditional search (Google, Bing) and AI-powered search experiences. Knowing where customers find you, and whether your business shows up when they search, helps you make smarter decisions about your online presence without needing to be an SEO expert. This article covers every metric on the AEO & SEO Dashboard and explains what each one means for your business. Each report contained in this dashboard is clickable to a more detailed report.
Why Your SEO & AEO Dashboard Matters
Most business owners don't have time to monitor multiple platforms to find out whether their marketing is working. The AEO & SEO Dashboard pulls your most important visibility data into one place, so you can see at a glance whether customers are finding you on Google, Bing, and AI-powered search tools, and whether your website is performing well enough to keep them there.
Search behavior is changing. Customers are increasingly getting answers directly from AI tools like Google's AI Overviews without clicking through to websites. The AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) reporting section of the dashboard shows you how often your business appears in those AI-generated results and how much traffic AI search is driving to your site. Understanding both traditional SEO and AI search performance gives you a complete picture of your online visibility.
How to Access your SEO & AEO Dashboard

SEO Performance Metrics on Your Dashboard
The AEO & SEO Dashboard displays several SEO metrics that reflect how your website and business listings are performing in traditional search engines. Each metric tile is clickable and opens a full detailed report for that metric.
Total Page 1 Keywords
Total Page 1 Keywords shows the total number of keywords for which your business currently ranks on page 1 in Google and Bing. Appearing on page 1 matters because most people never scroll to page 2 of search results. If your business isn't on page 1, most potential customers won't find you through search. Below the main number, individual logos show the page 1 keyword count broken out separately for Google and for Bing.
Total Visits
Total Visits shows the total number of visits to your website, as reported by Google Analytics. This number reflects all traffic sources combined. To see traffic broken down by source, refer to the All Traffic tile described in the All Traffic section of this article.
Keyword Positions in Google
Keyword Positions in Google shows your top-performing keywords on Google, including each keyword's current rank on mobile devices, current rank on desktop, and the recent change in ranking position. A positive change means your keyword moved up in search results. A negative change means the keyword dropped in ranking.
To view a full report that includes all of your tracked keywords and additional ranking data, click View Report in the Keyword Positions in Google tile.
All Traffic
All Traffic shows an overview of total traffic to your website over time, displayed as a line chart. To change the date range displayed on the All Traffic chart, click the start date or end date field in the top right corner of the tile. To see data for a specific day, week, or month, hover over that point on the chart.
The All Traffic tile breaks down website visits into four traffic source categories:
- Direct Traffic - visitors who came to your site by typing your web address directly into their browser, without clicking a link or finding you through search
- Organic Traffic - visitors who found your site through unpaid (organic) search results on Google, Bing, or other search engines
- Paid Traffic - visitors who found your site by clicking on a paid search ad
- Referral Traffic - visitors who found your site by clicking a link to your site on another website
To open a detailed report with additional traffic data, click View Report in the All Traffic tile.
Visitors by Device
Visitors by Device shows the breakdown of which devices - desktop, mobile, or tablet - visitors are using to access your website. Understanding device usage helps you confirm that your site is delivering a good experience for the device types your customers actually use.
To open a full report on visitor device behavior, click View Report in the Visitors by Device tile.
Page Speed and Load Time Insights
Page Speed and Load Time Insights shows how many seconds it takes for pages on your website to load. Page load time is a direct ranking factor in Google search. Search engines prioritize faster-loading pages because they provide a better experience for visitors. If your page speed is slow, it can negatively affect where your business appears in search results, even if your other SEO metrics are strong.
GBP Listing Views and GBP Customer Actions
GBP Listing Views shows how many people have visited your Google Business Profile (GBP) during the selected date range. GBP Customer Actions shows what those visitors did when they arrived - such as clicking to call your business, requesting directions, or visiting your website.
To change the date range for either GBP chart, click the start date or end date field in the top right corner of the tile. To see data for a specific day, week, or month, hover over that point on the chart. To open a detailed report for either metric, click View Report in the corresponding tile.
FAQ
Does the AEO & SEO Dashboard update in real time? The AEO & SEO Dashboard pulls data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other connected sources. Data refresh rates vary by metric and depend on how frequently those sources report.
What is AEO and how is it different from SEO? SEO (Search Engine Optimization) refers to optimizing your business to appear in traditional search engine results pages on Google, Bing, and similar platforms. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) refers to optimizing your business to appear in AI-generated answers, such as Google's AI Overviews, where search engines summarize information directly in the results rather than just linking to websites. The AEO & SEO Dashboard tracks both.
Can I make changes to my SEO program from the dashboard? No. The AEO & SEO Dashboard is a reporting and monitoring tool. It displays performance data but does not allow you to make changes to your SEO program, edit your listing profile, or manage your Google Business Profile directly. To learn how to update your listing information, see Listings Management.
