Our SEO team focuses on 3 key areas. From these SEO efforts, you can expect gradual improvements in your website's visibility, organic traffic, and search engine rankings over time.
- Local SEO - we optimize your business listing on Google Business Profile, ensuring accurate information and business details such as categories, descriptions, and services offered to ensure alignment with Google best practices & your SEO strategy.
- Website SEO - our SEO team will enhance your site's structure, content, and technical performance, including improving page speed, mobile usability, and keyword optimization. This includes crafting engaging content and ensuring search engines can easily crawl and index your site.
- Off-site SEO - this complements the above efforts by building your online authority through high-quality backlinks, social bookmarking, and directory citations, helping you rank higher and attract more customers across all channels.
SEO service is offered as an add-on to Thryv Marketing Center. This add-on can't be purchased self-serve in the software, but must be purchased through your Thryv Business Advisor. This is to ensure that they are able to build a comprehensive SEO proposal that takes into account your desired keywords, geography, competition, and several other factors so that you can make an informed decision. This entails work done by our team both directly on your site as well as off-site work including link building, industry articles/blogs, and other methods, to increase your ranking.
Once you've purchased SEO and completed your SEO onboarding, you are able to see the results of your program in the SEO tab in Thryv Marketing Center. When you click, your SEO dashboard will open in a separate tab.
On your SEO Dashboard, you can keep track of the work our SEO team is doing, as well as the results. The SEO dashboard contains information about your keyword rankings, links acquired, Google Analytics, total traffic, and more.

FAQ
Do I need to have a Thryv website to have SEO?
While it is definitely encouraged, you don't necessarily have to have a Thryv website to use SEO with Thryv Marketing Center. If you wish to use SEO with a 3rd party website, Thryv will require login credentials to your site and continuous access to make changes in real time.
Is there an onboarding process for SEO?
Yes, after speaking with your Business Advisor and going over your proposal, your SEO onboarding can begin. We'll begin the process of keyword research right away. Then, your program kicks off with a 45 minute onboarding call with an SEO specialist, where we'll review and select your keywords and the onsite and offsite work to be done.
Can I transfer SEO work to a different URL?
No, if you wish to have SEO work done on a different URL, you'll need to complete another purchase and start again.
Can I change my keywords?
No, once the onboarding is complete keywords can not be changed, you would need to complete another SEO proposal and purchase.
Can I start SEO at a future date?
No, SEO work must begin once the proposal and onboarding process are complete.
