Rather than requiring you to manage campaigns across multiple ad platforms, Thryv Leads builds and manages a unified campaign across search, display and social channels on your behalf. Machine learning allocates your budget toward whichever channels and targeting combinations are generating the most qualified leads, and the system adjusts continuously without requiring any input from you. The longer your campaign runs, the more data the system collects and the more effectively your budget is spent.
Every lead generated by your Thryv Leads campaign flows directly into your workflow without any manual steps. For Thryv Business Center customers, each new lead automatically creates a contact in your CRM, complete with AI analysis to indicate which leads are most ready to take action. For Thryv customers without Business Center, leads are available in the Analytics tab under Thryv Leads. Because your campaign is built in partnership with your Thryv Business Advisor rather than configured through a self-serve tool, the campaign is tailored to your specific services, your geographic area and the volume of leads you want to generate before the first ad ever runs.
How to Purchase Thryv Leads
Thryv Leads is not available for self-purchase inside the Thryv software. To add Thryv Leads to your account, contact your Thryv Business Advisor. During that conversation, your Advisor will gather the information needed to build a custom campaign proposal for your business. To prepare for that conversation, have the following information ready:
- The specific services you want to promote through the campaign
- The geographic area your business serves, described as a radius or specific markets
- The number of leads you are looking to acquire per month

How Your Thryv Leads Campaign Works After Launch
Once your Thryv Leads campaign is live, the campaign runs across search, display, and social channels simultaneously. Machine learning monitors performance across all channels and continuously reallocates your budget toward the sources generating the most qualified leads. No action is required from you to keep the campaign running or to trigger these optimizations, the system manages this automatically in the background.
Thryv Leads uses dedicated tracked phone numbers to attribute incoming calls accurately to your campaign. A tracked phone number is a unique phone number that appears only on your Thryv Leads ads and is separate from your main business phone number. Every call to a tracked phone number and every completed contact form on your ad's landing page is recorded and counted as a lead in your campaign reporting. Tracked phone numbers do not replace your main business number, calls to tracked numbers are forwarded to your business phone as normal.
Changes to your campaign budget or ad content cannot be made directly in the Thryv software. Thryv Leads relies on machine learning data collected over the life of the campaign to optimize performance and manual changes to the campaign could disrupt the optimization process. How to Access Your Thryv Leads Performance Reporting
Detailed performance reporting for your Thryv Leads campaign is available in the Analytics tab of Thryv. Click Analytics in the left-hand navigation. Then click Thryv Leads in the tab row across the top of the Analytics dashboard. The Thryv Leads reporting dashboard will open and display your campaign metrics, call history, form submissions and additional call details.
How to Read Your Thryv Leads Dashboard Metrics
The Thryv Leads dashboard displays four performance metrics at the top of the reporting view. Each metric gives you a specific signal about how your campaign is performing and how effectively your ads are reaching and engaging potential customers.
Impressions: The total number of times your ad was displayed to a potential lead across any channel in your campaign. Impressions measure reach, how many people saw your ad at least once.
Clicks: The total number of times someone clicked on one of your ads. Clicks indicate how many people were interested enough in your ad to take the first step toward contacting your business.
Calls/Form Fills: The total number of times a potential lead either called one of your tracked phone numbers or completed a contact form on your ad's landing page. Calls/Form Fills represents your total inbound lead volume from the campaign.
Missed Opportunities: The total number of calls to your tracked phone numbers that went unanswered. If a voicemail was left on a missed call, the Missed Opportunities section gives you the option to listen to the voicemail message directly from the reporting dashboard.
How to Review Your Call History and Listen to Recordings
The Call History tab in the Thryv Leads reporting dashboard displays all calls to your tracked phone numbers. Calls are automatically sorted into one of three categories: calls over 30 seconds (indicating a meaningful conversation with a potential lead), missed opportunities (calls that went unanswered) and other calls (calls that lasted less than 30 seconds). To listen to a call recording, click the play icon next to the call in the call history list. To save a call recording to your device, click the download icon next to the call. To listen to a voicemail left on a missed call, locate the call in the Missed Opportunities category and click the play icon next to the voicemail.
How to View Contact Form Submissions from Your Ads
The Forms tab in the Thryv Leads reporting dashboard displays all contact form submissions completed on your ad's landing page. Each form submission entry displays the information the lead provided when filling out the form, including the lead's name, phone number, email address and any additional details entered in the form fields. Use the Forms tab to review new leads who chose to contact your business by form rather than by phone call.
How to View Additional Call Details
The Additional Call Details tab in the Thryv Leads reporting dashboard provides deeper information about individual calls received through your tracked phone numbers. For each call, the Additional Call Details tab displays the traffic source that generated the call, the number of times the phone rang before the call was answered and which specific tracked phone number was dialed. Use the Additional Call Details tab to understand which channels and tracked numbers are driving the most call activity for your campaign.
