How to use ThryvAI to help write your captions

When creating content in Thryv Business Center, you are able to call for help from ThryvAI at any time by clicking on CaptionAI

In the text box, first enter a prompt for ThryvAI. A prompt is an input or query provided by you to in order to generate  a specific response or information. The prompt is the text or command given to an AI  to generate a relevant and coherent output. It can be a question, a statement, or any form of input that prompts ThryvAI to generate a response, in this case, a caption for your social media post. Select a tone for your captions. This will inform ThryvAI on exactly how you want the caption to convey to your audience. Use the drop-down to select the intended tone for your captions. Use the # Captions drop-down to determine the number of captions you wish to choose from. You don't have to use all captions generated. (Note that the maximum amount of captions is 10).

If you would like specific captions for each of your connected platforms, toggle Platform specific captions to On. As a general rule, the fewer platforms you select, the better results in optimizing the caption for that platform.

Use the toggles to determine whether you want Hashtags and Emojis included in your caption. Keep in mind, this won't necessarily include your saved hashtags in Thryv Business Center, but rather will include hashtags ThryvAI believes will succeed. These toggles can be turned on or off, so you can think of this as a "yes or no" question depending on whether you want these included.

Once you have made the above selections, click on Generate Captions for ThryvAI to generate captions for your post. Keep in mind you still have final approval before these captions are published.

The captions generated will be displayed in a pop-up window. If you are not satisfied with any of these, click on Regenerate Captions to get a fresh list of captions to choose from.

To choose a caption for your post, check the box next to it and click on Select Captions to add the caption to your post. If more than one caption is selected, they will be rotated when the content is recycled.

Once you save your caption, it will automatically be added to your post. You are still able to edit the caption as normal, so you have complete control over the content of your post.
