Why are my automated content schedules not loading?

If you are trying to set automated post schedules, but the content isn't loading into your calendar, here is the most likely reason why: your default Accounts for content don't match the selected accounts in the schedule

This is one of the most common reasons why queues aren't pulling in content. The selected accounts in your schedule must be at least equally matching to the selected default publishing accounts on the content items.

Your schedule and content might look something like this. The accounts shown in this case are an Instagram and Pinterest account, and even though you set a content schedule, the queue is empty.

However, you may find that the category tags match for your schedule and content library yet your queue is still empty. You'll see in the upper right of my schedule that Pinterest and Instagram accounts are selected. You now need to check that the content also has at least both Instagram and Pinterest selected as well.

Find the content to update

To do this, navigate to the Content Library.
Find a piece of content that should be in your schedule and click the three dots in the upper right corner. Then click Edit Content
Under the Accounts section, select the appropriate default accounts corresponding to the accounts in your schedule. Then, click Update. This content will now be added to your schedule!

Load content into your schedule in bulk

To apply this to multiple pieces of content at once, you can also change the default accounts of multiple pieces of content at once with Bulk Operations. To do this:

In the Content Library, hover over the gear icon in the center of your screen and choose Bulk Operations
Select Default Accounts
Click the Select Content link
You can now individually select your content by clicking each individual item
Or you can Select All Content, or choose your content by selecting one or multiple tags at the bottom of the page.
Now, click Add Items at the bottom-right of the page
Select the appropriate default accounts then click Add Default Account. All of the content selected should now auto-fill into your schedule!
