Filters
To filter your dashboard by a certain social media page, use the drop-down to select which pages are included in the analytics. Select a social platform (ex: Facebook, Instagram) to show all pages on that platform, or select pages individually. The data below will automatically update based on the pages selected.
To filter by date, use the date filter on the right. There are preset date ranges, or you can enter a custom date range. The date on the left shows current data, and the date on the right shows a previous data set to compare.
Keep in mind that the filters set here will apply to all of the metrics below.
Audience Growth
This chart shows the growth or decline of your followers across your social media presence. Based on the filters set above, this chart creates a visual timeline of your audience growth. In other words, this chart measures the number of people who can see the content on your pages.
Exposure
This report shows the extent and impact of your content's visibility. In other words, this chart measures how many people are seeing your content across your social pages. The two metrics displayed are:
- Impression - the total number of times your content was viewed
-
Reach - the number of individual users who have viewed your content.
- In other words, 1 person viewing your post 3 separate times would be 3 impressions and 1 reach.
Click on the tile for each metric to display it on the graph. These metrics offer insights into the distribution of your content and its effectiveness in reaching your target audience.
Engagement Breakdown
This chart shows the types of interaction that users have with your content. This includes tracking the number of likes, comments, shares, and clicks your content receives. By monitoring the engagement breakdown, you can gain insight into what type of content resonates most with your audience, allowing for more informed decision-making and strategy optimization. For even more detailed analysis of these metrics, go to Advanced Insights
Engagement Rate
Engagement rate is often used to gauge the effectiveness of social media content. It is calculated by dividing the total engagement (likes, comments, shares, etc.) by the total impressions. In other words, divide the total times a visitor has interacted with your content by the total times a visitor has seen your content, and this will give you the rate at which people see your content and want to take action. A higher engagement rate generally indicates more effective content, as it shows a higher proportion of your audience is interacting with your posts.
