To get started, navigate to Social from the menu.
To quickly jump to a section, use the drop-down at the top
Article Contents:
Dashboard
The first section that appears is the dashboard, where you can see some quick stats about your social profiles. In the graph that appears, the number of people who engaged with your content will display in a blue bar graph, and the number of impressions will appear behind it in the yellow graphic. Additional stats appear below the graph.
Upcoming Posts
Upcoming Posts will display all scheduled posts in chronological order for the time period selected. Use the drop-down to change the time period. To see more posts quickly, you can switch to Grid Preview. To see posts that have already been published, tap Published below the time drop-down.
Each post will display the caption, image, and which social pages where it is scheduled to be published.
To edit an upcoming post, tap the tri-dots. From here you are able to delete the post or edit. Editing the post works the same way as creating a post, Click Here to skip down to that section.
Comments
The Comments section will show all comments on your social profiles in chronological order. Tap on a comment to reply. Type your response in the field provided, and click Post Comment to instantly post your response on their comment.
Tap the magnifying glass icon to filter by your social platforms. By default all pages are included. If you would like to exclude one, uncheck the box for it.
Post Now
In addition to the post now section, you can also find the post now button on each page in the Social section of the Thryv Business Center mobile app. Tap the create post button to get started.
A menu will appear at the bottom of your screen. Indicate whether you would like to create a regular post, a story, or a Facebook Cover photo.
First, select which platforms you would like this post to appear on.
Add media, either an image or video, to your post. Use Tap to Upload to upload a photo from your device. Alternatively, use Find Free Stock Images to browse our stock photo library, or Design Custom Media to use our integration with Canva to create an image for your post. Note that while this step is optional, some platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) require an image or video to post, and even on platforms that don't require it, posts that contain an image or video perform significantly better than text-only posts.
Enter a caption for your post. Type your caption in the text box, or use CaptionAI to help come up with a caption.
Use CaptionAI to Generate Content
If CaptionAI is selected, enter a prompt for your caption in the text box. Select a tone and how many caption options you would like to generate. Note that you don't have to use all of the captions generated, but can choose which ones to use. Use the toggles to enable emojis, hashtags, and platform specific captions.
CaptionAI will present you with the number of unique generated captions selected. To have CaptionAI try again, tap Regenerate Captions, and it will come up with a new list. To use one or more captions, check the box(es) for them, then tap Select Captions. If multiple captions are selected, they will be automatically rotated each time this content is recycled.
Once your caption(s) are added, use the toggles available to Require approval before the post goes live, and to Recycle content, meaning to allow the content to be reused in automated queues. If this toggle is checked, select whether to expire the content after a certain date or number of times posted. Add tags to the content to find it more easily in your content library or add it to automated content schedules. Note that tags in this context does not refer to hashtags, but rather internal tags that will not be displayed publicly.
Finally, scroll down to the bottom, and select to either Save, Post, or Schedule this content. Take note of any error messages that appear, as these could cause your content to fail to post on the affected platforms.
