With Thryv Marketing Center, you can easily create up to 5 unique numbers and see which campaigns are paying off. The data from these tracked phone numbers appears in your Analytics tab, side by side with your marketing efforts that take place in Thryv Marketing Center. With this advanced tracking, you're able to know if a $500 flyer campaign is outperforming that $200 Facebook ad. Or, if you have a landing page with Keap, use one to track its performance. Call tracking connects the dots, so you can confidently double down on what’s working and stop wasting money where it’s not.
Create Your Trackable Phone Numbers
If you don't currently have any trackable phone numbers set up, click on Get Started on the setup screen.
In the window that appears, enter a name for this trackable phone number. This is used to distinguish it from other numbers you create. Then, enter the phone number you where you wish to route the calls. If you have an existing destination phone number defined in your settings, it will appear here by default, but you can use a different one if needed. Once you're finished, click on Create.
Next, Thryv Marketing Center will automatically generate a unique phone number to use for this advertisement. Click on the copy icon to copy this number to your clipboard. This number is not published anywhere else, it should only be used in your dedicated ad campaign. This way, when you see calls to this number in your reporting, you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that your ad worked! And, you'll know exactly which campaign brought them in.
To create another trackable phone number, click on Track New + in the top-right corner. You can add up to 5 trackable phone numbers.
See Which Ads are Working Best
Now that you have one or more trackable phone numbers created, they will appear when you revisit this screen. Here's how to read your results at a glance:
- Total Calls shows you the full volume of calls your ad received.
- Unique Calls tells you exactly how many new leads your campaign generated.
- Average Calls Weekly helps you spot trends and see if a campaign is gaining momentum.
- Average Call Duration can give you insight into the quality of the calls and how long you are speaking with potential clients.
Return to this screen often to see just how successful your campaigns using trackable phone numbers are for your business. With this information at a glance, you can see exactly which methods are doing the most to grow your business and gain more customers.
Edit Your Trackable Phone Numbers
To make changes to one of your trackable phone numbers, click on the tri-dots on its row.
- Edit Details - Update your campaign name or change where calls are routed
- Change Trackable Number - Generate a fresh number for your campaign. This can be done once in a 24 hour period. Don't forget to replace the number where you have it published in your ad!
- Remove - delete this number and its data to free up a slot for a new trackable phone number.
Measure Call Quality by Listening To Your Calls
Every call to your trackable phone numbers is more than just a lead, it's a chance to learn what your marketing is delivering. By listening to these calls, you can:

All of the calls made to this number, along with statistics for this number, will appear on the next screen. Use the search bar to search by phone number, or sort by number, date, or duration. To hear a recording of the call, click on Listen To Call.
Click Play to listen to your recording. You can pause at any time or drag the slider to jump to a specific part. To capture key details—like a customer request or follow-up task—click +Add Note. Notes are saved at the exact moment in the call, so your team can instantly see why the customer called and what needs to happen next, without replaying the whole recording.

Where can I publish my trackable phone numbers?
These phone numbers are meant for use outside of Thryv Marketing Center, so that you can track your online and offline marketing efforts all in one place. While the possibilities are nearly endless, here are a few ideas:
- A landing page from your Keap account
- Printed advertisements (Newspapers, magazines, etc)
- Billboards, other signs in your community
- Your service trucks, vans or other vehicles
- In-person events and trade shows
