By having your line items saved ahead of time, you can create estimates and invoices in just seconds each time. In this guide we will go over how to save both products and services in Business Center so that going forward, you can add them to an invoice or estimate with the touch of a button. Pre-saved line items come in the form of Products and Services
What's the difference between Products and Services?
To put it the most simply, the main difference is that services have a time slot associated with them, as they can also be booked on your calendar. In contrast, products only have a price associated, as they only appear on estimates/invoices. You are able to set up a combination of products and services depending on whether you only want the item to appear on estimates and invoices or on the calendar as well.
To add Products or Services, navigate to settings, and both options can be found in the middle column.
Add Products
To add a new product, click on the + icon in the bottom right corner.
When adding a product, the fields Name and Price are required, while Description and Photo are optional. For a detailed guide to products, Click Here
Add Services
To add a new service, click on the New Service button in the top left and select whether you wish to add a 1:1 Appointment or a Group Event
Next, give your service a name and fill out other relevant details. Note that here you can assign a fee for this service which will pre-populate on your estimates and invoices. If you select No Fee or Price Varies, then you will need to assign a price manually every time you add this item to an estimate/invoice. If desired, you can add even more details to this service by clicking Advanced. In that case, Click Here for a full guide to adding services
Once you have finished adding your Products and Services, your estimates and invoices are now equipped with a ready-made list of line items so you and your staff can get paid faster!
