Connect Your Accounts
Which Social platforms can I connect?
With Business Center Social, you are able to connect any combination of the following (including multiple accounts on the same platform):
- Google Business Profile
- X (formerly Twitter)
- YouTube
- TikTok
Can I connect any platform on any Business Center package level?
Yes! The type of platform is not limited by package level, just the amount.
My plan involves limited channels. If I connect more than one profile on the same social media platform, do those count as individual channels?
Yes, each instance of a given social media platform (ex: multiple Facebook profiles as explained above) count as individual channels.
Can I post any kind of content to any platform?
No, each platform has it's own requirements. Instagram and Pinterest require either an image or video to post. TikTok and YouTube each require a video. Each platform may also have additional requirements
Can I still customize posts for each social media platform individually?
Yes! While Business Center does make it easy to post consistently across multiple platform, you can toggle which platforms you would like the post to go to, or create a post for just one platform. (Note that if Thryv is creating your social content, this does include consistent posting across all included platforms, but you can still toggle a platform on or off for an individual post).
Does every post have to go to every network? Or can I still post to them individually?
Posts will only go to the selected platform, so yes you are still able to post to a platform individually.
Will historical data from my social media pages also sync to Business Center?
Yes. The length of data available is limited by the platform. Here is how much data will sync for each platform:
Can Thryv create a page for me on any social media platforms?
No. We are happy to assist you with connecting them to Business Center, but Thryv is not able to make a page on any social site on your behalf.
Can I connect Facebook Ads with Business Center?
No, Facebook Ads can be used with Marketing Center.
Can I connect to a Facebook Group?
No. Meta has eliminated the ability for any 3rd party (including Business Center) to post to a Facebook group. This affects any partner with Facebook. If you had connected a Facebook group before this change, it will still appear connected, and you can still view data for posts previously created, however you will not be able to post to it.
Creating Content
Why did my post fail?
When a post fails, it will appear in red with an error icon in your social calendar. Click on the failed post to see the error message. Once you resolve the error message, you can reschedule your post. The most common type of error experienced is caused by the limitations of the platform (ex. trying to post text-only to YouTube).
My personal Facebook page is connected. Why can't I post to it?
This is a platform limitation from Meta. They do not allow 3rd party platforms to post to personal pages, they only allow this for Business pages.
My Google Business Profile is connected. Why can't I post to it?

What is "Evergreen" content? How can I use it?
"Evergreen" content refers to social media posts or content that remains relevant and valuable to your audience over time. Unlike timely or time-sensitive content that might have a short lifespan, evergreen content stays fresh and useful long after it's been published. Can multiple images be added to one post?
Yes, the number of images allowed varies by platform and is limited by them.
Where will I be notified of new social activity?
You will be notified in your inbox. You will be notified when there is a comment on one of your posts, if your credentials become inactive and you need to re-link your page, and when you have Thryv-generated content ready to review.
How long does it take for a social post to publish?
They normally post within a few minutes, depending on the size of the post and if it contains video.
Is it possible to export my data from the analytics screen?
No, at this time it is not possible to export.
Thryv-Created Posts
Why are the pictures on my scheduled posts on Facebook not of my business?
Images are added to a Facebook post in one of two ways, auto-generated from a site link or by attachment. When a site link is added to a post, Facebook randomly selects the image to be shown. If the link is to an article or blog the image will pull from the specific site. The attached images are limited to stock photos as we cannot guarantee licenses, image quality, or that the image meets Facebook requirements.
Why are there scheduled posts that are not about my business?
The goal of any social media campaign is to build awareness and grow your followers. The posts are educational, informational, and shareable to engage users. This may include an article related to your industry or tips customers can look forward to reading on your page to bring them back.
Can I change the information that is posted to my page?
Social Presence Management Posts are scheduled one month in advance to allow you time to review and edit the post prior to being published on your page. You will receive an email along with a Business Center notification that your posts are available. If you would like to change the type of post that is being created, you can contact customer support to discuss the type of changes you would like to see in the scheduled post moving forward.
How long do I have to approve my social posts?
You will be notified 1 week before the date of the first scheduled post. You can edit any upcoming post before it's scheduled date.
Will the same caption go on all of my social platforms?
The caption will be customized for each social platform in order to improve performance, you can expect them to vary slightly.
