How Thryv Reviews and Prioritizes Product Feedback
Thryv uses product feedback submitted by users to identify the most important features, ideas, pain points, and opportunities for improvement. Feature requests are prioritized based on votes from users — when more users vote on a request, it moves higher on the priority list. While it is not always possible to release features in exact order of user votes, the vote count serves as a primary guideline for prioritization. Other factors that influence prioritization include the complexity of the feature, the time required to build it, and whether it aligns with Thryv's long-term product strategy. All feedback submitted through the Thryv Feedback feature is reviewed individually by the Thryv Product Team.
How to Submit a Feature Request or Product Feedback
To submit product feedback, select the Help icon in the top right corner of your Thryv account. In Thryv Business Center™, the feedback option is located under Resource Center in the bottom left of the screen instead of the Help icon.
The screenshot above shows the Help icon location in Thryv. The Help icon appears in the top right corner of the screen. For Thryv Business Center users, the equivalent option is found under Resource Center in the bottom left of the screen. Both options provide access to the Submit Feedback option.
Under Additional Resources, select Submit Feedback.

Complete the feedback form that appears. Include as much detail as possible about the feature or improvement requested. If there is a workaround currently being used for the missing feature, include that information in the form as well — it helps the Thryv Product Team understand the impact of the request.

A field for describing current workarounds is also included. Completing all fields with as much detail as possible helps the Product Team evaluate the request accurately.
How to Vote on Other Users' Feature Requests in the Ideas Portal
Feature requests submitted by other Thryv users are visible in the Ideas Portal. To view and vote on other users' requests, visit the Ideas Portal from the Submit Feedback menu. When viewing a request submitted by another user, select the request icon to add a vote. When voting, indicate whether the feature is a Must Have, a Nice to Have, or Not Interested. Voting on a request also subscribes you to status updates for that feature — you will receive a notification when the status of the request changes.

Selecting the vote icon opens the voting options — Must Have, Nice to Have, and Not Interested. The Ideas Portal displays the current vote count and status for each request.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does this article cover?
This article covers how to submit product feedback and feature requests using the Thryv Feedback feature, how to vote on other users' ideas in the Ideas Portal, and how submitted feedback is reviewed and prioritized by the Thryv Product Team. This article does not cover technical support requests or billing questions. For technical support, contact the Thryv Support team directly.
What is the typical turnaround time for a feature request?
There is no fixed turnaround time for feature requests. The timeline depends on several factors including the level of interest from other users, the complexity of the request, and whether the feature aligns with Thryv's long-term product strategy. Each request is given time to gather votes from other users before being added to the product roadmap. The Thryv Support team cannot provide an estimate for when a specific request will be reviewed or change status.
What happens to product feedback after it is submitted?
All new feature requests are reviewed by the Thryv Product Team. Requests being considered for development are assigned an Under Consideration status, which makes them visible in the Ideas Portal for other users to vote on. The Thryv Product Team holds regular feedback review meetings to discuss the highest-priority requests and evaluate how they align with the product roadmap. If a request is selected for further evaluation, the status changes to In Discovery, indicating the feature is being scoped for potential inclusion in the product roadmap. Anyone who has submitted or voted on a request is notified automatically when the status changes. The Thryv Ideas Portal always displays the most current status for all active requests.
How will I be notified when a feature request is approved or released?
If a feature request was submitted or voted on, an email notification is sent when the request moves to the Building stage, indicating the feature has been approved for development. A second email notification is sent when the feature is Delivered, indicating the feature has been released. Notifications are sent to the email address associated with the Thryv account used to submit or vote on the request.
Can the Thryv Support team provide updates on my feature request?
The Thryv Support team can look up the status of a feature request in the Ideas Portal but does not have access to additional information beyond what is displayed there. The Support team cannot provide an estimated timeline for when a request will be reviewed or change status. For the most current information on any feature request, visit the Thryv Ideas Portal directly.
