Use the settings page to easily change your Business Categories, turn on or off call recording, or change your destination number for your tracked phone numbers. This guide will go over each item and show you how the changes made here affect the rest of the software.
To navigate to the settings page, just click on Settings in the lower left corner from any screen in Thryv Marketing Center
Call Recording
By default, Call Recording is turned on. This allows you to verify the quality of leads in Marketing Center and ensure that your staff who answer the phone are responding appropriately. However, you can disable recording in your settings
To do this, navigate to Settings>Call Recording and set the toggle to Disabled.
Destination Number
The Destination Number is the number that will receive all of the calls generated through your tracked phone numbers. To change the number, click on Edit. The field will unlock and you can type your new number. Then, click on Save Changes to set the new number.
High Thryver Tip: For best results, make sure that this number will reach someone who is available during business hours. If you spend all day at a job site or anywhere you can't answer calls, it is best to have the number of someone at the office who can take the lead's information. Customers are not likely to leave voicemails and are much more likely to call someone from another ad if their call isn't answered.
FAQ
Will disabling call recording delete the recordings that are already there?
No, it will only stop future ones. You will still need to go back and delete previous recordings if desired.
Can I use tracked phone numbers without call recording?
Yes, data will still appear in the reports, but you will not be able to listen to the phone calls.
