Use the settings page to easily change your Business Categories, turn on or off call recording, or change your destination number for your campaigns. This guide will go over each item and show you how the changes made here affect the rest of the software.
To navigate to the settings page, just click on Settings in the lower left corner from any screen in Marketing Center
Choosing your Business Categories will determine which categories and keywords will be available to you when you create your Campaigns.
To set your category, click on the drop-down and search for the desired category. To add a category, check the box for it. You are able to add up to 5 categories at a time. To remove a category, click on the X icon next to it.
Note: Categories in this screen only refer to the categories that are available in your campaigns. These will not affect your categories in Listings Management. This will allow you to advertise in a category even if it is not included in your online listings
By default, Call Recording is turned on. This allows you to verify the quality of leads in Marketing Center and ensure that your staff who answer the phone are responding appropriately. However, you can disable recording in your settings
To do this, navigate to Settings>Call Recording and set the toggle to Disabled.
The Destination Number is the number that will receive all of the calls generated through Campaigns. To change the number, click on Edit. The field will unlock and you can type your new number. Then, click on Save Changes to set the new number.
High Thryver Tip: For best results, make sure that this number will reach someone who is available during business hours. If you spend all day at a job site or anywhere you can't answer calls, it is best to have the number of someone at the office who can take the lead's information. Customers are not likely to leave voicemails and are much more likely to call someone from another ad if their call isn't answered.
If I remove the category for a campaign that is active, will the campaign end?
No, changing categories will not affect current campaigns. It will only change the categories available for new campaigns created.
I don't see my category, what should I do?
The categories available are pre-determined based on the categories available from advertisers. If your desired category does not appear, it likely means that search sites do not have a category for it. Also, remember that keywords are more specific than categories, so you may be able to select more specific keywords during the campaign creation process. For best results, choose the category that most closely matches your business to proceed.
Will disabling call recording delete the recordings that are already there?
No, it will only stop future ones. You will still need to go back and delete previous recordings if desired.
