Please note that the maximum number of clients that can be exported at a time is 2000. If you wish to export more clients than this, you can segment by Tags and export in batches, or contact Thryv support ​for assistance.

1. Click on Clients

2. Click on More Actions>Export Clients

3. Use the Columns toggle to select whether you want to export all client card fields or only a select data set

4. Use the Rows toggle to export your entire client list or only export clients based on your active filters

 

5. Select whether to export to a CSV or Excel document

6. Click on DOWNLOAD

Troubleshooting

There are a few reasons why an export may fail:

• 2000 client limit - Only 2000 clients can be exported at a time. If you need to export more than 2000 clients, we recommend applying tags to clients in batches and then exporting according to these tags. 
• If you see the error "Something went wrong - action failed" the most likely reason is that the file size of the export is too large. To solve for this, either reduce the number of clients being exported (even if it's already less than 2000) or reduce the number of fields (or columns) in your export. If you are choosing to reduce fields, you can export in batches, by including some of the fields on one export, and remaining fields on the next. Make sure there is a unique identifier like name or email address so you can merge the spreadsheets after the export.
