Keeping your account information current in Thryv protects your access, ensures your invoices go to the right place, and keeps your billing running without interruption. Your Account Profile in Thryv is where you update your personal contact details, your business information, the payment method used for your Thryv subscription, and where you access your full billing history. This article walks you through each section of the Account Profile so you can find and update what you need quickly.

This article covers the Account Profile section in Thryv, which manages your personal information, business information, payment methods and billing history for your Thryv subscription. This article does not cover cancelling or removing a Thryv subscription. To cancel or modify a subscription, email the Thryv Client Care clientcare@thryv.com. How to Access the Account Profile
The Account Profile is accessible from the left-hand navigation in Thryv. Click My Account in the left-hand navigation. Then click Account Profile in the My Account submenu. The Account Profile page will open and display four sections: Personal Information, Business Information, Active Subscriptions and Payment Methods.
How to Edit Your Personal Information
The Personal Information section of the Account Profile displays the profile details for your staff account in Thryv. To edit your personal information, click Personal Information in the Account Profile navigation. Click the edit icon to make the fields editable. The following fields are available to update in the Personal Information section:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Title
- Email address: This is the email address used to log in to your Thryv account
- Phone number
After making your changes, save the updated information before navigating away from the Personal Information section.
How to Reset Your Account Password
To change the password used to log in to your Thryv account, click Reset Password in the Personal Information section of the Account Profile. A confirmation popup will appear. Click Reset Password in the confirmation popup to confirm the request. Thryv will send a password reset email to the email address on your account. Open the password reset email and follow the instructions in the email to set a new password.
How to Edit Your Business Information
The Business Information section of the Account Profile displays your business name, address, and contact information as stored in Thryv. To edit your business information, click Business Information in the Account Profile navigation. Click the edit icon to make all business information fields editable. Update the fields that need to be changed, then click Save in the lower-left corner of the Business Information section to save your changes. Changes to business information in the Account Profile apply to your Thryv account record, confirm whether any changes also need to be made in your Listings Profile to keep your published listings accurate.
How to View Your Active Subscriptions
The Active Subscriptions section of the Account Profile displays all Thryv software products currently included in your subscription. To view your active subscriptions, click Active Subscriptions in the Account Profile navigation. Each subscription is listed with its product name and current status. Click the Action dropdown next to a subscription to see the available actions for that subscription. Subscriptions cannot be cancelled or removed from the Active Subscriptions screen.
How to Add, Edit or Delete a Payment Method
The Payment Methods section of the Account Profile is where you manage the payment method used for your Thryv subscription billing. To access the Payment Methods section, click Payment Methods in the Account Profile navigation. The Payment Methods section displays all currently saved payment methods. To add a new payment method, click the + icon. To modify an existing payment method, click Edit next to the payment method you want to update. To remove a payment method, click Delete next to the payment method you want to remove. Changes to payment methods can take up to 10 minutes to reflect on the Payment Methods page after they are saved.
Two payment method types are available when adding a new payment method: credit card and bank account via Plaid. Select the payment method type that applies when the add payment method window opens.
How to Add a Credit Card as a Payment Method
When the add payment method window opens, click Credit Card at the top of the window to select credit card as the payment method type. Fill in all required fields in the credit card form, typically including card number, expiration date, CVC and billing address details. After completing all required fields, click Add to save the credit card as a payment method for your Thryv subscription billing.
How to Add a Bank Account as a Payment Method Using Plaid
Thryv uses Plaid to connect a bank account directly using your online banking credentials, without requiring you to manually enter your account number and routing number. When the add payment method window opens, click Transfer With Plaid at the top of the window. A confirmation screen will appear, click Continue to proceed to the Plaid bank selection screen.
On the Plaid bank selection screen, locate your bank by scrolling through the list of supported banks or by typing your bank's name into the search bar at the top of the screen. Click your bank's name to select it.
After selecting your bank, enter your online banking username and password in the fields provided on the Plaid login screen. Click Continue to submit your credentials to Plaid. Your online banking username and password are used by Plaid only for the purpose of retrieving your bank account information during this one-time connection, Thryv does not store your online banking credentials.
After Plaid successfully retrieves your bank account information, a success screen will appear. Click Continue on the success screen. A permissions screen will then appear listing the access Plaid requires to complete the bank account connection. Review the listed permissions and click Allow to grant the necessary permissions and complete the bank account connection.
How to View Your Payment History and Download Invoices
The Payment History section of the Account Profile displays a record of all payments made to Thryv for your subscription. To access the Payment History, click Payment History in the Account Profile navigation. The Payment History list displays the following information for each payment: Payment Date, Invoice Creation Date, Due Date, Invoice number and Amount Due. Click any column header in the Payment History list to sort the payment records by that column.
To identify which Thryv subscription a specific invoice is for, preview or download the invoice. In the Actions column on the right side of the Payment History list, click Preview to open the invoice in a browser window, or click Download to save the invoice file to your device. The invoice details include the subscription name and the billing period covered.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cancel my Thryv subscription from the Account Profile?
No. Subscriptions cannot be cancelled or removed from the Active Subscriptions screen in the Account Profile. To cancel or modify a Thryv subscription, contact the Thryv Client Care team.
How long does it take for a new payment method to appear after I add it?
After adding or updating a payment method in the Payment Methods section of the Account Profile, changes can take up to 10 minutes to reflect on the Payment Methods page. If the updated payment method does not appear after 10 minutes, refresh the page. If the issue persists, contact Thryv Support using the orange support banner in the bottom-left corner of any Thryv page.
Does Thryv store my online banking credentials when I connect a bank account via Plaid?
No. Your online banking username and password are used by Plaid only during the one-time bank account connection process to retrieve your bank account details. Thryv does not store your online banking credentials. After the connection is complete, Plaid retains a secure token to maintain the connection, your actual banking login credentials are not stored by Thryv or Plaid after the initial authentication.
If I update my business information in the Account Profile, does it also update my online listings?
Updating your business information in the Account Profile updates your business record within your Thryv account. To update the business information that appears on your published online listings across partner sites, you must also update your Listings Profile separately.
