1. Start from Dashboard
2. Click on Clients
3. Search for or select a client from the list.
4. Click 'New' in the upper left-hand corner.
5. Click on Record Payment
6. Select the product or service you'd like to record a payment for, or type in a custom product or service.
7. Ensure amount is correct, or type in custom amount.
8. Ensure the 'Paid on' date is correct.
9. Click on Payment Method
10. Choose the payment method from the dropdown list
11. Type in a reference, if desired.
12. Choose whether or not you'd like to send a receipt to the client by checking or unchecking the box.
13. Choose whether or not you'd like to issue an invoice to the client by checking or unchecking the box.
14. Click on SAVE
