Need to invite multiple people to an appointment? You can add additional emails as a CC on an appointment invitation. This guide will show you how to include everyone you need!

First, add the details of your appointment as normal, by selecting the service, time, staff, price, etc.
Then, click the drop down Additional recipients and email notes. In this field, add the extra email addresses to send the appointment to.
Once the appointment is scheduled, the additional contact will appear within the appointment under Client Notifications & Follow-Ups
The additional recipient will receive an invitation to their email address similar to what the main contact on the appointment will receive. However, it will not contain a link to the main contact's client portal, or any actions available on the appointment. It will contain an .ics file to sync to the recipient's calendar.
Will all additional recipients be charged the fee associated with the appointment?
No, the fee will only apply to the main contact on the appointment. The extra recipients will not be able to pay the fee and will not be charged
Does adding an additional recipient to an appointment add that contact to my CRM?
No, a contact does not have to be added to your CRM to be included as a CC on an appointment. The additional recipient will not receive any details about your business or other clients other than what is included in the appointment.
Can I add the additional recipient as a contact in my CRM?
You certainly can! You are able to manually add the additional recipient as a contact in Thryv with their email address. Keep in mind, the appointment they are added to as a CC will not reflect on their client card, and any fees associated with the appointment will only reflect on the client card of the main contact.
If I CC an email address associated with a client in my CRM, will it appear on their client card?
No, they will only be a CC on the appointment. Appointments will only show on the main contact's client card.
If the appointment is tentative until confirmed by client, can the additional contact confirm the appointment?
No, only the main contact on the appointment can take action on it
Can I add an additional recipient after the appointment is created?
No, the only time it is possible to add an additional recipient is during the appointment creation process
Will the additional recipient receive reminders about the appointment?
Yes, the additional recipient will receive reminders on the same schedule as the main contact for the appointment.
