Every lead that comes into Thryv can now flow directly into Zoho CRM, automatically. When a prospect calls, fills out a form, or reaches out through your listings, Thryv captures and qualifies the lead and sends it straight to Zoho CRM as a Lead with call notes, form details, and lead quality signals already attached. Your team gets full context the moment a lead lands, so follow-ups are faster and nothing slips through the cracks. Connect Thryv and Zoho CRM to turn more prospects into customers without adding steps to your workflow. Save time by eliminating manual exports, data copy-paste, and missed follow-ups.

Key Benefits
Thryv captures and qualifies every incoming lead — calls, form submissions, and listing inquiries — and sends each one to Zoho CRM as a Lead automatically. No manual exports, no data entry, no leads sitting in a queue waiting to be moved.
Every Lead arrives with full detail already attached: name, email, and phone. Thryv Score and Thryv Sentiment are applied directly to the Lead as native tags, so your team can prioritize outreach based on lead quality at a glance.
If a Lead already exists in Zoho CRM, Thryv updates that record instead of creating a duplicate, matching first on an internal record ID, then email address, then phone number. Your pipeline stays clean, your team stays focused, and every lead gets the follow-up it deserves.
Your Zoho CRM workflow stays intact. The integration works behind the scenes. You continue using Zoho CRM exactly as you do today, and the leads just show up.
How to Connect Thryv to Zoho CRM
To get started, select Zoho CRM from the Integrations Directory in Thryv.
Review the permissions Thryv is requesting, then continue to sign in with your Zoho CRM credentials and authorize the connection.
Once you're signed in and the authorization completes, the setup is complete, and leads will automatically start flowing from Thryv to Zoho CRM.
How the Thryv-to-Zoho CRM Sync Works
- Leads Are Automatically Synced — Once connected, Thryv monitors incoming leads and checks each one's score against the filtering rule before sending anything to Zoho CRM.
- Leads Are Created or Updated — For each qualifying lead, the integration checks whether a matching Lead already exists in Zoho CRM — first by internal record ID, then by email address, then by phone number. If a match is found, that Lead is updated. If no match is found, a new Lead is created.
- Score and Sentiment Are Applied as Tags — Thryv Score and Thryv Sentiment are written to the Lead as native Zoho CRM tags, so your team can see lead quality at a glance from the Lead record.
- Notes and Context Are Attached — Call activity and form submission details are added to the Lead as a note, building a running communication history so your team always has context. Notes are always added, never overwritten.
- Work the Lead in Zoho CRM — Your leads appear in Zoho CRM with full context attached. From there, continue your normal workflow: qualify, convert to a Contact/Deal, and follow up.
Qualifying leads reach Zoho CRM in near real time, so your team can follow up while the prospect is still deciding.
Which Leads Are Sent to Zoho CRM
Not every lead is sent to Zoho CRM. The connection filters leads by score so your pipeline reflects strong prospects instead of noise. By default:
- Leads scored 3 or higher are sent to Zoho CRM. These are your qualified, high-intent prospects.
- Unscored leads are sent to Zoho CRM. A lead that has not yet received a score is still passed through so it is not lost.
- Leads scored 1 or 2 are held back. Low-scored leads are not sent to Zoho CRM, keeping low-quality prospects out of your team's workflow.
What Data Is Shared
When a lead is synced, the following information is sent to Zoho CRM:
- Name (first and last)
- Email address
- Phone number
- Thryv Score (applied as a native tag)
- Thryv Sentiment (applied as a native tag)
- Call conversation summary and key notes (added as a Lead note)
- Form submission details (added as a Lead note, when applicable)
Managing Your Integration
View Status You can check whether Zoho CRM is connected from the Integrations Directory at any time.
Disconnect Anytime You can uninstall the integration at any time. Disconnecting the integration will:
- Stop new leads from syncing to Zoho CRM
- Revoke Thryv's access to your Zoho CRM account
Existing Lead records, tags, and notes already in Zoho CRM are not affected when you disconnect.
Limitations
This integration is currently in Beta. Features and availability may change before general release.
This integration syncs Leads only. It does not create or manage Contacts, Accounts, or Deals in Zoho CRM. Converting a Lead into a Contact, Account, or Deal is still done manually in Zoho CRM.
This integration does not send Zoho CRM data back into Thryv. Data flows in one direction only, from Thryv to Zoho CRM.
This integration only syncs leads Thryv receives after you connect Zoho CRM. It does not send leads you received before connecting.
When to Use This Integration
This integration is a good fit if:
- You already use Zoho CRM to manage your sales pipeline
- You want leads from Thryv delivered directly into your existing workflow
- You want to avoid manually moving lead data between systems
- You want lead quality signals (score and sentiment) visible on the Lead record without extra setup
FAQ
How are leads scored?
ThryvAI listens to calls received on your tracked phone numbers from your Thryv program. It listens for "Intent Signals" during the call, such as asking for a quote, mentioning an emergency, or discussing a specific service. It then weighs these signals to determine if the lead is high-priority (Hot) or just an inquiry (Warm). ThryvAI will assign a numerical score to the lead based on the conversation. The scores range from 1 through 5. Use the lead score to prioritize your follow-ups so that you are investing your marketing time into the leads that are most likely to convert. Here is how the score is calculated:
- 5 - Client booked an appointment or made a purchase.
- 4 - Productive conversation about services, even if no sale or appointment was made. May include quotes or contact info exchange.
- 3 - Existing customer calling about past work, questions, or to reschedule. Or, minimal interest with no contact info shared.
- 2 - Wrong-fit leads (e.g., outside service area, competitor research) with no clear interest.
- 1 - Spam, sales calls, wrong numbers, unintelligible voicemails, or no clear customer intent.

Does the connection create duplicate Leads in Zoho CRM?
No. The connection checks for an existing Lead first by internal record ID, then by email address, then by phone number. If a match is found on any of those, the existing Lead is updated instead of a new one being created. A new Lead is created only when no match is found.
Will I lose my Zoho CRM Leads if I disconnect?
No. Disconnecting stops new leads from syncing and revokes Thryv's access to your Zoho CRM account, but Lead records, tags, and notes that already exist in Zoho CRM are not affected. Disconnecting removes the connection, not your data.
Does the connection send my Zoho CRM data back into Thryv?
No. The connection sends qualified leads from Thryv to Zoho CRM. It does not pull Zoho CRM Contact, Deal, or Account data back into Thryv.
Does this integration create or manage Contacts and Deals in Zoho CRM?
No. This integration creates and updates Lead records (plus their tags and notes) only. Converting a Lead into a Contact, Account, or Deal is still something you do yourself in Zoho CRM, the same way you do today.
