This article covers connecting Thryv® to Pipedrive, how leads move between the two systems, which leads qualify to sync, what data is shared, and how to manage or remove the connection. This article does not cover managing Pipedrive Deals or Organizations, or sending Pipedrive data back into Thryv. For information on how leads are scored before they reach Pipedrive, see AI Lead Insights and Lead Scoring.
Benefits of Sending Leads from Thryv to Pipedrive
Connecting Thryv to Pipedrive removes the manual work of moving leads between systems, so a sales team can follow up while a prospect is still deciding. When a prospect calls a tracked number, submits a form, or reaches out through a business listing, Thryv captures and qualifies the lead and sends it to Pipedrive automatically, with call notes, form details, and lead quality signals already attached.
This saves a sales team from exporting spreadsheets, copying contact details by hand, or checking multiple systems to see whether a lead was already followed up on. Every qualifying lead arrives in the Pipedrive Leads Inbox as a Person record with a linked Lead, so a rep has full context the moment a lead lands and can prioritize outreach without extra setup.
The connection also protects existing Pipedrive work. Pipedrive Leads Inbox, Deals, and pipeline management continue to work exactly as they do today. The integration only adds Person records, Lead records, Lead Labels, and notes — it does not change how a sales team works Deals or Organizations.
How to Connect Thryv to Pipedrive
Open the Integrations Directory in Thryv. Select Pipedrive from the list of available integrations.
Review the permissions Thryv requests for the connection. Continue to the Pipedrive sign-in screen.
Sign in with Pipedrive account credentials and authorize the connection. Once authorization completes, the setup finishes automatically, and leads begin flowing from Thryv to Pipedrive without any additional configuration.
How Leads Move from Thryv to Pipedrive
Each incoming lead follows the same path from Thryv into Pipedrive:
Thryv checks the lead's score against the filtering rule. Once the Thryv-to-Pipedrive connection is active, Thryv monitors incoming leads and checks each lead's score before deciding whether to send it to Pipedrive. The filtering rule is covered in the "Which Leads Are Sent to Pipedrive" section below.
Thryv creates or updates a Person and Lead in Pipedrive. For each qualifying lead, Thryv checks Pipedrive for a matching Person, first by email address, then by phone number. If a matching Person is found, Thryv updates that Person's record. If no match is found, Thryv creates a new Person along with a linked Lead in the Pipedrive Leads Inbox.
Thryv applies Thryv Score and Thryv Sentiment as Lead Labels. Lead Labels are Pipedrive's native way of tagging leads. If a sales rep already applied their own labels to the Lead, those labels stay in place — Thryv only updates the Score and Sentiment labels it created.
Thryv attaches call and form details as a note. Call activity and form submission details are added to the Person or Lead as a new note each time a lead syncs. Pipedrive notes support multiple entries, so no existing note is ever overwritten.
A sales rep works the Lead in Pipedrive. The Lead appears in the Leads Inbox with full context attached. From there, a rep continues the normal Pipedrive workflow: converting the Lead to a Deal, assigning an owner, and following up.
Qualifying leads reach Pipedrive in near real time, so a sales team can follow up with a prospect while interest is still high.
Which Leads Are Sent to Pipedrive
Thryv filters leads by score so the Pipedrive Leads Inbox reflects strong prospects instead of low-quality noise. By default:
- Leads scored 3 or higher are sent to Pipedrive. These leads are qualified, high-intent prospects.
- Unscored leads are sent to Pipedrive. A lead that has not yet received a score still passes through to Pipedrive so the lead is not lost.
- Leads scored 1 or 2 are held back. Low-scored leads are not sent to Pipedrive, keeping low-quality prospects out of the Leads Inbox.
What Lead Data Is Shared with Pipedrive
When a lead syncs, Thryv sends the following information to Pipedrive:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Thryv Score, applied as a Lead Label
- Thryv Sentiment, applied as a Lead Label
- Call conversation summary and key notes, added as a note
- Form submission details, added as a note when a form was submitted
How Thryv Calculates Lead Scores
ThryvAI listens to calls received on Thryv-tracked phone numbers for "Intent Signals," such as a caller asking for a quote, mentioning an emergency, or discussing a specific service. ThryvAI weighs these signals to determine whether a call is high-priority or a general inquiry, then assigns a numerical score from 1 through 5. Use the Thryv Score to prioritize follow-ups so a sales team spends time on the leads most likely to convert.
- 5 — The client booked an appointment or made a purchase during the call.
- 4 — The call included a productive conversation about services, even if no sale or appointment was made. May include a quote or an exchange of contact information.
- 3 — An existing customer called about past work, asked a question, or rescheduled. This score also applies to calls with minimal interest and no contact information shared.
- 2 — The caller was a wrong-fit lead, such as someone outside the service area or a competitor researching pricing, with no clear interest in the service.
- 1 — The call was spam, a sales call, a wrong number, an unintelligible voicemail, or showed no clear customer intent.

How to View or Disconnect Your Pipedrive Connection
To check connection status, open the Integrations Directory in Thryv. The Pipedrive integration displays as connected or disconnected at any time.
To disconnect, open the Integrations Directory and select Pipedrive, then choose to uninstall the integration. Disconnecting the integration stops new leads from syncing to Pipedrive and removes Thryv's stored access to the Pipedrive account. Existing Person, Lead, Lead Label, and note data already created in Pipedrive are not affected by disconnecting.
What This Integration Does and Does Not Do
This integration is a good fit for a business that already uses Pipedrive to manage its sales pipeline, wants Thryv leads delivered directly into the Pipedrive Leads Inbox, wants to avoid manually moving lead data between systems, and wants lead quality signals visible on the Lead without extra setup.
This integration does not manage Pipedrive Deals or Organizations. A sales rep continues to convert a synced Lead into a Deal manually, the same way as before the connection was made. This integration also does not send Pipedrive data back into Thryv — Deal and Organization data in Pipedrive stay in Pipedrive.
Frequently Asked Questions About the Thryv and Pipedrive Integration
Does the connection create duplicate Persons in Pipedrive? No. Thryv checks Pipedrive for an existing Person first by email address, then by phone number. If a match is found on either field, Thryv updates the existing Person instead of creating a new one. Thryv creates a new Person and linked Lead only when no match is found.
Will Thryv overwrite Lead Labels a sales rep has already applied? No. Pipedrive Lead Labels are shared across a Lead, so Thryv only adds or updates its own Thryv Score and Thryv Sentiment labels. Any labels a sales rep applied manually stay in place.
Will disconnecting the integration delete existing Pipedrive Leads? No. Disconnecting stops new leads from syncing and removes Thryv's access to the Pipedrive account, but Person, Lead, Lead Label, and note data already created in Pipedrive are not affected. Disconnecting removes the connection, not existing Pipedrive data.
Does the connection send Pipedrive data back into Thryv? No. The connection sends qualified leads from Thryv to Pipedrive only. Pipedrive Deal and Organization data are not pulled back into Thryv.
Does this integration manage Deals or Organizations in Pipedrive? No. This integration creates and updates Person and Lead records, along with their Lead Labels and notes. A sales rep continues to manage Deals and Organizations in Pipedrive directly, including converting a synced Lead into a Deal.
