Every lead that comes into Thryv can now flow directly into Klaviyo, automatically. When a prospect calls, fills out a form, or reaches out through your listings, Thryv captures and qualifies the lead and sends it straight to Klaviyo as a Profile with call notes, form details, and lead quality signals already attached. Your team gets full context the moment a lead lands, so follow-ups and flows are built on real signal, not guesswork. Connect the two platforms and turn more prospects into customers without adding steps to your workflow.
Key Benefits
No Manual Data Entry
Thryv captures and qualifies every incoming lead — calls, form submissions, and listing inquiries — and sends each one to Klaviyo as a Profile automatically. No manual exports, no data entry, and no leads sitting in a queue waiting to be moved.
Full Context on Every Profile
Every Profile arrives with full detail already attached: name, email, phone, Thryv Score, and Thryv Sentiment, written directly as custom Profile properties. Call and form activity is delivered as structured events on the Profile's timeline, so your team can prioritize outreach and build segments or flows based on lead quality without digging through notes or making judgment calls blind.
No Duplicate Contacts
If a Profile with a matching email address (or, failing that, a matching phone number) already exists in Klaviyo, Thryv updates that record instead of creating a duplicate. Your list stays clean, your team stays focused, and every lead gets the follow-up it deserves.
Your Klaviyo Workflow Stays the Same
The integration works behind the scenes. You continue using Klaviyo exactly as you do today — building flows, segments, and campaigns — and the leads just show up.
How to Connect Thryv to Klaviyo
Select Klaviyo from the Integrations Directory in Thryv.
Review the permissions Thryv is requesting. Then continue to sign in with your Klaviyo credentials and authorize the connection.
Complete authorization. Once you're signed in and authorization completes, setup is finished, and leads will automatically start flowing from Thryv to Klaviyo.
How It Works
Thryv Automatically Syncs Leads
Once connected, Thryv monitors incoming leads and checks each lead's score against the filtering rule before sending anything to Klaviyo. Qualifying leads reach Klaviyo in near real time, so your team can follow up — or your automations can kick off — while the prospect is still deciding.
Thryv Creates or Updates Profiles
For each qualifying lead, the integration checks whether a matching Profile already exists in Klaviyo, first by email address, then by phone number if no email match is found. If a match is found, Thryv updates that Profile. If no match is found, Thryv creates a new Profile.
Thryv Writes Score and Sentiment to the Profile
ThryvAI writes Thryv Score and Thryv Sentiment to the Profile as custom properties, so your team — and your flows and segments — can use lead quality signals right away.
Thryv Delivers Notes and Context as Events
Klaviyo Profiles don't have a native notes field, so call activity and form submission details are delivered as structured events attached to the Profile's activity timeline: a "Received Call" event for phone leads, and a "Form Submission" event for form leads. Each new call or form submission adds a new event — nothing is overwritten.
You Work the Lead in Klaviyo
Your leads appear in Klaviyo as Profiles with full context attached. From there, continue your normal workflow: build segments, trigger flows, and run campaigns.
Which Leads Are Sent to Klaviyo
Not every lead is sent to Klaviyo. The connection filters leads by score so your Klaviyo account reflects strong prospects instead of noise. By default:
- Leads scored 3 or higher are sent to Klaviyo. These are your qualified, high-intent prospects.
- Unscored leads are sent to Klaviyo. A lead that has not yet received a score is still passed through so it is not lost.
- Leads scored 1 or 2 are held back. Low-scored leads are not sent to Klaviyo, keeping low-quality prospects out of your marketing lists.
What Data Is Shared
When a lead syncs, Thryv sends the following information to Klaviyo:
- Name (first and last)
- Email address
- Phone number
- Thryv Score (written as a custom Profile property)
- Thryv Sentiment (written as a custom Profile property)
- Call conversation summary and key notes (delivered as a "Received Call" event)
- Form submission details (delivered as a "Form Submission" event, when applicable)
Managing Your Integration
Check Connection Status
Check whether Klaviyo is connected from the Integrations Directory in Thryv at any time.
Disconnect the Integration
You can uninstall the integration at any time. Disconnecting the integration will:
- Stop new leads from syncing to Klaviyo
- Revoke Thryv's access to your Klaviyo account
Existing Profile and event data already in Klaviyo are not affected when you disconnect.
When to Use This Integration
This integration is a good fit if:
- You already use Klaviyo to manage contacts, email, and SMS marketing
- You want leads from Thryv delivered directly into your existing workflow
- You want to avoid manually moving lead data between systems
- You want lead quality signals (score and sentiment) available on the Profile so you can segment or trigger flows without extra setup
FAQ
How are leads scored?
ThryvAI listens to calls received on your tracked phone numbers from your Thryv program. ThryvAI listens for "Intent Signals" during the call, such as asking for a quote, mentioning an emergency, or discussing a specific service, then weighs these signals to determine if the lead is high-priority (Hot) or just an inquiry (Warm). ThryvAI assigns a numerical score to the lead based on the conversation, ranging from 1 through 5. Use the lead score to prioritize your follow-ups so you invest your marketing time in the leads most likely to convert.
- 5 — Client booked an appointment or made a purchase.
- 4 — Productive conversation about services, even if no sale or appointment was made. May include quotes or contact info exchange.
- 3 — Existing customer calling about past work, questions, or to reschedule, or minimal interest with no contact info shared.
- 2 — Wrong-fit leads (for example, outside service area or competitor research) with no clear interest.
- 1 — Spam, sales calls, wrong numbers, unintelligible voicemails, or no clear customer intent.

Does the connection create duplicate Profiles in Klaviyo?
No. The connection checks for an existing Profile by email address first, then by phone number if no email match is found. If a match is found, that Profile is updated instead of a new one being created. A new Profile is created only when no match is found on either field.
Why do notes show up as events instead of a notes field?
Klaviyo Profiles don't have a native notes field, so Thryv delivers call and form context as structured events on the Profile's activity timeline instead. These events appear alongside your other Klaviyo activity data, and you can use them in segments and flows just like any other event.
Will I lose my Klaviyo Profiles if I disconnect?
No. Disconnecting stops new leads from syncing and revokes Thryv's access to your Klaviyo account, but Profile and event data that already exist in Klaviyo are not affected. Disconnecting removes the connection, not your data.
Does the connection send my Klaviyo data back into Thryv?
No. The connection sends qualified leads from Thryv to Klaviyo only. It does not pull Klaviyo Profile, List, Segment, or Flow data back into Thryv.
Does this integration manage my Klaviyo Lists, Segments, or Flows?
No. This integration creates and updates Profiles and their related events only. You still build and manage Lists, Segments, Flows, Campaigns, and Catalogs in Klaviyo the same way you do today.
