We're excited to announce that you can now enter a tailored business description directly into the Listings Manager Core Information section that will appear on your Apple Maps Listing. This new field is tailored to meet Apple's 500 maximum character limit for the business description field.   

Apple’s 500-character limit for business descriptions is a constraint. Simply truncating longer descriptions mid-sentence or mid-word creates an unprofessional and potentially confusing experience for customers. A truncated description might not convey the intended message or might even damage the business’s image. 

Clients can now easily enter their shortened Apple Maps listing business description at the same time they are entering their main business description.
