Thanks for your post! We're sorry to hear that your client was having trouble and it impacted their business.

We don't know of any such issues, as by design the group event should be able to register as many attendees as the max attendees allowed in your group event settings. We will investigate your instance and post the results here.

A member of the Product team will reach out to you to collect your customer's information and ensure this is resolved, thank you!

    Mia,

Thanks again for your post. After investigating, it appears that the issue is that these customers clicked on the link from the Facebook app on their phone, and were therefore brought to the payment screen on Facebook's native mobile browser. Facebook (or Instagram) mobile browsers are not supported for ThryvPay payment links.

You mentioned the client changing their strategy for promoting their events. Because of this limitation, there really isn't a way to force the Facebook app to open a different browser. This user would need to tell their customers to paste the link into their preferred browser to book and pay. In addition, we've created a feature request to add support for social mobile browsers for ThryvPay.

If any other Thryv users have a creative solution for how to promote a group event link on Facebook live, let us know with a comment!
