Do you want your campaigns to have a landing page custom-fit and unique to your business? You can use our custom landing page editor to make your vision for your marketing campaigns come to life!
Here is your blank slate to start creating your landing page experience for your leads. Don't let all that blank space intimidate you, it's easier than you think to fill it with unique engaging content!
The Top Bar
Dont' Forget! As you're making changes, periodically click on Save in the top right to avoid losing your work!
To see how your page will look when it's published, navigate to Actions>Preview
Click on Show/Hide Structure to show the boundaries between your rows and columns (Don't worry, we'll cover what those are in just a moment)
Add Rows
To add content to your landing page, the first step is to add Rows to the page to hold the content. A simple way to think of it is that your landing page is divided into rows (as many as you would like to add) and then the content, whether that is images, contact forms, or action buttons, are housed on these rows. To add a row, select Rows on the top right, and choose a Row shape
Within each row is contained Columns. As shown in each sample, you can choose from a variety of different column layouts within each row. A wider block indicates a larger column within the row (ideal for holding bigger content) and a small block indicates a smaller column. You can mix and match different column layouts for a near-infinite number of possible designs.
If you want to move a row you have already created, you can click and drag using the icon. You can use this to reorder rows, or drag it onto another row to merge your content onto that row.
To edit settings for a row, click on the Row tab on top of the row
This will bring up Row Actions & Properties
Row Actions
- Comment - create an annotation for this row, which will be added to the "notes" section on the right. This can not be seen by your leads or customers, this is only for your personal reference
- Delete - This will delete the entire row
- Clone - This will create an exact copy of the row, including all of its existing content, which will be placed 1 row below it.
Row Properties
Use this panel to make changes that affect the entire row, including adding a background color or image, or customize the width of all columns within that row
Now that we have some rows added, we have a basic layout planned. But don't worry, you can adjust your rows on the fly as you edit!
Add Content
Now that we have our layout planned, we're ready to start adding content to those rows. Navigate to Content
To add content to your page, click and hold on one of the content types on the right, and then drag it onto the column within the row where you would like it to appear. In the example below, we're adding a title to the top of our page.
You can further edit a content block by clicking on it, which will bring up the content editor on the right. You can use these tools to edit properties like the size, font, color, or spacing of your content.
Note: The tools available will vary based on what type of content was initially selected
To add an image, drop an image block onto a column, and then click on Browse.
You will be taken to the File Manager. This is where files used on your landing page are housed. Click on Insert to add that image to the content block on your landing page
- Upload - Click here to be taken to your device's files, where you can upload pictures to be used
- Import - Click here to import a gallery of photos from another website, a social media page, or an online collection such as Dropbox, to add multiple photos at once
- Search Free Photos -Click Here to bring up a window where you can search for free stock photos from several sites at once. Any images found here are free to use on your page
When editing text, click on the text box to bring up the editing tools. You can use these tools to edit properties like the text color, format, or other changes.
After adding content of any kind, you can use the icon to drag it to another row or column.
Now that we've got some content added, here's a look at what you can do with existing content on the page.
Toggle Your View
At any time during page creation, you can use the icons in the top left corner to change your view from Desktop to Mobile to see how your page will look on each device.
Global Settings
This settings pane applies changes to the entire landing page. Here you can make changes to the whole page including the width of the content area, apply a global background color, default font, and more.
Best Practices
Now that you have the tools at your disposal to create an engaging landing page, what should your focus be? The advantage that a landing page has over a full website is that it is solely focused on one goal. Think back to the goal you chose at the beginning of creating your campaign, brand awareness or converting leads. Decide what specific goal you want to accomplish with this page, down to the exact type of leads you want to convert, or what specific service you want your customers to know about. Focus your content around one idea, as too many can get confusing. Remember you can always come back to your campaign and edit the landing page as your needs change!
