Employee settings:
Company codes: Select all applicable company codes, this ensures the report captures payroll across every entity in your organization.
Include All Employees, not just Active. This captures former employees whose paychecks still fall within the year, giving you a complete and accurate picture.

Set the Request Period to Year to Date. This pulls every payroll run from January 1st through today, all in one shot, no need to run separate reports per quarter.

This is key. Exporting as Excel gives you a fully editable, filterable dataset that you can slice and dice with a pivot table. A PDF is static, Excel is a working tool. Click Run as Excel and save the file.

Rows → Name:
Group the data by employee so each person's full payroll history is organized in their own section.
Filters → Pay Date:
Use Pay Date as a filter to instantly isolate any specific quarter, month, or individual paycheck run.
Values → Sums:
Add all earnings, deduction, and tax codes as summed values, the pivot table totals everything automatically.

Run this report once at the end of each quarter and save the Excel file. Your pivot table does all the heavy lifting, filter by Pay Date to isolate any quarter in seconds. Come year-end, you'll have everything your accountant needs, already organized and ready to hand off.
