When you purchase Thryv, you will be prompted to go through a one-time Quick Start Guide to set up your core pieces of your Thryv account. There are five steps to complete that will focus on your business information and listings so you can begin using the platform as soon as possible.
Some important notes:
- It is a requirement to complete this guide before using Thryv and it will automatically go to the Setup Wizard once completed. The Setup Wizard is not required and will be accessible to you at the top of your Thryv Screen.
- The Quick Start Guide focuses on getting your basics and listings set up, whereas the Setup Wizard gets you to use multiple features of Thryv and you can choose what to do at any time.
- Creating a business profile is the first step of the guide. This is where you will be able to upload your business image, phone number, address, users, and website URL. The phone number and address are the only required fields and will pre-populate from what was entered at the time of purchase.
- If your phone number is a landline, we will attempt to register it for SMS texting capability.
The next part of the Business Profile section is setting your business category and business hours.
Finally, the last step is going to ask you to set up any Staff Members for your business. You will automatically be setup as the Primary Admin for your account. You can add as many staff members as your package allows, and once it's set, an email invitation will be sent to each staff member so they can log in and use Thryv.
The second step is taking all your information that was set in your Business Profile and sending out for final setup of your listings. The progress bar at the bottom will show you what percentage you are at and it should only take you a few minutes or less to complete!
You'll be asked next to connect a payment gateway. You will be invited to sign up for ThryvPay, the only payment provider designed specifically for service-driven small businesses. You will also be able to sign up or log into your Square or Stripe account to take payments using Thryv.
Next, you will be presented with the option to import your Google Contacts. If you do not have Google Contacts or you wish to import your client list manually or from an excel spreadsheet, you can do so once the guide is completed.
Once you have completed the guide, you will see a list of tasks that were accomplished because you are now a High-Thryving Thryv User!
Once you click Done, the guide will automatically open up the Setup Wizard. You can go through more steps, or exit out and come back later. Either way, you are now ready to use your new Thryv!
