Two quick setup steps and every Client Portal appointment lands in your Google Calendar on its own, zero manual entry, ever.
1Match your email address
Use the same email for Thryv and Google Calendar
This is what connects the two. If they don't match, appointments won't sync.
Settings Business Info Info Accounts Email
Want system notifications sent to a different address? Add it under Settings → Inbox & Leads → Additional Emails, your calendar sync won't be affected.
2Turn on auto-add in Google Calendar
1
Click the gear icon on any Google Calendar page
2
Click Settings
3
Find "Automatically add invitations to my calendar"
Select Yes or Yes, but don't send event reminders until I have responded , either works.
4
Click Save
Done, appointments booked through your Client Portal will now appear in Google Calendar automatically.
!If sync stops working
Check your spam folder
Look for emails with the subject "Appointment scheduled with [Client Name]", if they're in spam, mark them as Not Spam and sync will resume.
Log into Gmail on a web browser
If emails aren't going to spam, simply sign into your Gmail account in a browser. That's usually enough to kick the sync back into gear.
Set it once and forget it. Every new appointment shows up in Google Calendar automatically, no copy-pasting, no manual adds.
