With TeamChat Mobile, you have full control over your notifications of messages. This guide will show you how to control your notifications received when you receive a message or are tagged in TeamChat. Note that TeamChat notifications are controlled separately from other notifications in Command Center.
To get started, tap the Settings Icon from any screen in Command Center.
Then, under Other Settings, tap TeamChat
This will open your TeamChat notifications settings.
Use Mobile Notifications to set notifications to your smartphone for TeamChat on or off entirely. Disabling notifications will prevent you from receiving push notifications to your smartphone with the Command Center app installed.
Use Email Notifications to set notification preferences for email notifications sent to your staff email account. These notifications are sent when you are tagged in a message.
- No Email - disables email notifications when you are tagged
- Daily Email - sends one email every day with all of the messages where you were tagged in the last 24 hours
- Every Email- sends an email notification every time you are tagged in a message
Once you have changed your settings, be sure to tap Save or your changes will not be saved.

Are TeamChat notifications controlled for each staff member individually?
Yes, each staff member can toggle their own notifications individually. When changes are made, it only affects the logged-in staff member.
Can I change my TeamChat status on mobile?
No, this functionality is currently only available on desktop.
Do changes made here affect my TeamChat desktop notifications?
No, the changes made here only affect push notifications from the Command Center mobile app and email notifications. Desktop notifications are controlled from the desktop version of Command Center
