1. From your inbox, tap the New Message icon
2. Type the name of your contact in the "To" line
3. If desired, tap the channel icon to change the channel.
The last channel used with this contact will be used by default.
4. Type your message. If your channel is email, you will also need to enter a Subject line
5. Tap the Send icon to send your message
