Business Center makes it easy to consolidate your social media platforms into one easy-to-use platform! You can schedule and publish posts across various channels simultaneously, saving time and ensuring consistent messaging. This consolidated approach also allows for unified analytics, simplifying performance tracking and providing comprehensive insights into your overall social media strategy.
Which Social Media Profiles Can I connect to Business Center?
With Business Center, you can connect:
- X (Formerly Twitter)
- Google Business Profile
To get started, navigate to Social. If you haven't connected any social media pages before, you will be prompted to do so.
If you have connected a social media profile previously but want to do so again, click on the gear icon from any page within Social
Then, click on Add New
Select the Social Media Profile you would like to connect (at the end you will be given the option to add another)
What is "Other Platforms?"
Have a social media platform you also manage? While Business Center can only post to the pages mentioned above, you can still receive an email containing your post with a reminder to post it to your other platform, so you can still achieve consistent messaging.
We can automatically notify you to post to:
- Custom (other platform)
From here, the process can vary depending on the platform, but all of them will involve signing in with your credentials and granting the necessary permissions. See the individual step-by-step guides for details connecting each platform individually.
Can I connect both a personal or business page?
Yes, you can connect either personal or business pages, or both!
My plan involves limited channels. If I connect more than one profile on the same social media platform, do those count as individual channels?
Yes, each instance of a given social media platform (ex: multiple Facebook profiles as explained above) count as individual channels.
Can I still customize posts for each social media platform individually?
Yes! While Business Center does make it easy to post consistently across multiple platform, you can toggle which platforms you would like the post to go to, or create a post for just one platform. (Note that if Thryv is creating your social content, this does include consistent posting across all included platforms, but you can still toggle a platform on or off for an individual post).
Does every post have to go to every network? Or can I still post to them individually?
Posts will only go to the selected platform, so yes you are still able to post to a platform individually.
Will historical data from my social media pages also sync to Business Center?
Yes. The length of data available is limited by the platform. Here is how much data will sync for each platform:
Can multiple images be added to one post?
Yes, the number of images allowed varies by platform and is limited by them.
Can Thryv create a page for me on any social media platforms?
No. We are happy to assist you with connecting them to Business Center, but Thryv is not able to make a page on any social site on your behalf.
Where will I be notified of new social activity?
You will be notified in your inbox. You will be notified when there is a comment on one of your posts, if your credentials become inactive and you need to re-link your page, and when you have Thryv-generated content ready to review.
How long does it take for a social post to publish?
They normally post within a few minutes, depending on the size of the post and if it contains video.
Can I connect Facebook Ads with Business Center?
No, Facebook Ads can be used with Marketing Center.
De-Linking a Social Platform
Whoops! Did you connect the wrong page? Nothing to worry about - we can easily de-link a network following the steps below:
From any page under Social, click on the gear icon
Under Linked Accounts>Existing all of your connected platforms will be listed. Locate the one you would like to remove, and click the small gear icon under controls. Then click on Unlink Account
You will be asked to confirm, and if you're sure you want to disconnect the platform, click on Unlink
Note: This does not delete any of your social platforms permanently. It merely eliminates the connection between the platform and Business Center.
