How Your Minute Counter Works - FAQ
How does monthly billing work?
Your plan includes a certain amount of Calls minutes per month. When you first upgrade your package, you automatically receive the full complement of minutes for the month, no matter where in your billing cycle you upgrade. Afterward, your minutes reset on your billing cycle date. You will be billed for your minutes as part of your regular Command Center monthly charges
Will the call I'm on end if I run out of minutes?
No. If your minutes run out mid-call, you will still be able to stay connected to that call for as long as you like. Once the call disconnects, you will not be able to make calls without upgrading.
If I use Command Center on multiple devices or with multiple staff, do they have their own sets of minutes?
No. You will have one minutes pool, shared by all of your devices and staff accounts.
Can I purchase minutes a la carte?
No, Command Center is envisioned as a solution for all of your business's communication needs. To increase your available minutes, you will need to upgrade your Command Center package and take advantage of the full benefits, such as increased connected channels and staff seats.
Am I charged for minutes even if the person I call does not answer? Or for erroneous phone calls?
Minutes are only counted if the call lasts longer than 30 seconds. The intent behind this is to ensure that the only minutes counted are for when your customer answers the call, or to give you time to identify a wrong number call and end it.
