As a small business owner, setting up a professional and engaging voicemail greeting is crucial for several reasons. Your voicemail greeting is often the first interaction a potential customer has with your business. By creating a warm and friendly greeting, you can make callers feel valued and appreciated, even if you are unable to answer their call immediately. A well-crafted voicemail greeting adds a touch of professionalism to your business image, and creates a better experience for your customers. This guide will show you how easy it is to record your voicemail greeting for Calls in Command Center.
From any screen in Command Center, navigate to Settings.
Next, click on Calls
Under Voicemail click on +Add A New Recording
To start your recording, click on the Record icon.
Once your recording has started, the record icon will turn Red. You will also see the Visualizer expand as you speak and a timer will start. The louder your voice, the larger the bars on the visualizer will be. Once you are finished recording, click on the record icon again to stop.
To review your recording, click on the Play icon. The visualizer will display the volume of your recording again and the timer will show how long the recording is. The play icon will turn into a Pause icon. You can click this icon to pause the recording, and click on it again to play the recording from where you left off.
If you would like to attempt your recording again, click on the record icon again, and you can create a new recording that will overwrite your previous one. Once you are satisfied with your recording, click on Save Changes
And congratulations! Your voicemail greeting is set up! It will play automatically for any caller when you aren't able to answer.
Remember, a well-crafted voicemail greeting is concise, friendly, and provides relevant information. It's essential to regularly review and update your voicemail greeting to reflect any changes in your business operations or contact details.
